For the short time I was there it seemed to be a nice place. The gentleman that answered a few questions for me was very personable, down to earth. The woman that came in on her high horse was not, she was rude and condescending. Apparently she didn't like where I parked, alongside the building. The parking was undefined other than some faint yellow lines near the road. There were no cars there in the lot and I was going to park in front of the store but didn't see any parking stripes so I pulled just off to the side. I didn't see there was a curb approach at the other end of the building, so I was parked in the called a drive lane. There was ample space to easily get by me. I guess if it bothered her that much she could have simply told me they preferred people to park along the street or perhaps painted some lines for parking spots. Instead she would shut up about it, talked down to me, like I was a child. I walked right out, permanently, never to return again. Read moreI had such a great experience at Greencastle Soap. As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted and asked about my needs. I requested their top four best-selling scents, and the staff quickly helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Read moreGreat smelling hand made soap bars for purchase as well as all the materials needed to make it yourself. I've been going to this cute little shop since I first visited a booth of their's at Art On The Green about 6 years ago. I haven't bought a commercial bar since. Some of my favorites include Spearmint, Lilac, Raspberry Green Tea, Huckleberry, and Sandalwood Vanilla. They always have a great assortment to choose from. I typically buy about 10 bars per visit that last me between 3 and 4 months. If you enjoy handmade goods and supporting local businesses this is a great place to add...
