If I could give zero stars I would have. A few days ago I lost my 150.00$ E cigg(mod) in a dressing room at the Spokane valley nordstroms rack. I came back about 1 hour later (after I realized my e cigg wasn’t in my purse) and felt really offended by the way the staff treated me. They were very rude. And acted as if they were entitled to keep my property and throw it away. It was highly unprofessional! I was told by a younger male employee that he had seen it, it was found hours ago and that they had thrownyyyyg it away. He said this all in a sarcastic non serious or professional tone. When I asked to speak with management I was told by her something entirely different that they had not found my e cigg at all and she took my name and number down to “get back to me” if anyone found it or turned it in” I was really taken aback by the total disregard and lack of respect for a customers pricey personal property. I fully understand it was near closing so I didn’t wanna make anymore of a fuss about it because I understand they were all trying to go home for the evening but the way I was treated was as if I was a total joke. I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and jaded from the loss of an item I had splurged on outside my budget for myself.(which I rarely am able to do.) I left questioning what I could have done to deserve to be treated like I was nothing and as if they were keeping my property or just threw it away. The whole experience was awful. Read moreI normally really enjoy my shopping experience at the Rack, however my last few visits have been somewhat unpleasant due to a sales associate hired sometime before the holidays. She's very abrasive in her customer contact. My daughter and I were looking at makeup and trying a tester. She approached and questioned us in an accusational manner, asking, " is that store makeup?" I showed her that it was a tester. Then she said with a bit of an attitude, "oh" and just walked away. Most of my experience with other Nordstrom's associate's have been positive and helpful. I felt that she should have asked if she could help us, instead of accusing us of opening makeup. My previous experience with her was with a return of a sweater I fully intended to keep until I put it on and after 2 minutes it was so itchy I knew it wouldn't work. So I decided to return it. She lectured me about not removing the tags if I'm going to return it. All other associate's make returns seamless and with ease. Read moreThis place is not too bad. Eversince Payless Shoe Source Closed, I could find a pair of shoes for a reasonable price. A pair that originally costed me $150 was on clearance for $80. When I was here in the Fall, I want to commend a cashier Nancy Jones for her experienced assistance. I want to thank her for going out of her way to sign me up for Nordstrom's Loyalty program and relating to me with positive demeanor. Most of the cashiers are not like that here. Today was my second time here. And I was looking for undergarments. They do fit, however I thought it was a pack of 5 for $20. There was only 1 pair, that was a major let down. Plus most of the items here at The Rack will not fit a 6 foot labor working man that has a large build to him. At the end of the day, this may only be a shoe store for me.
