This place is great for costumes and accessories got steam punk girl and mideval plague doctor from here with tons of accessories to make up for the cheaply made/defected things in the packaged outfits that are roughly $60. The mask for the plague doctor had to be trashed it was smashed and was hard plastic so permaenantly bent, the gloves didn't fit properly and the thumbs of the gloves are very abnormally long. The hat and goggles that came with the steam punk girl were awful as the hat was crushed, had a see through top, and the goggles were just for show and you couldn't see through them at all. We both bought walking canes for our outfits and they were really well made and had a great weight to them. For the plague doctor we got a steam punk plague doctor mask, new steam punk gloves, ordered boots, and a steam punk pocket watch. For the steampunk girl we got a new hat, gloves, keys/chain, ordered boots, and got leg netting. I will say the sizing for the netted stockings was awful and not correct at all. We LOVE coming to Spirit each year and checking out all the fun Halloween stuff. With all the COVID considerations this year, things are much different. We still had a good time looking at all the costumes and decorations. We decided to make a small purchase, donated to the kids (only a small amount, which is what I could afford), and tried to check out at the end. The card reader would not scan my card, regardless of what we tried. The lovely associate behind the counter (after getting the manager to try and exhaust all other possibilities) actually ran to the back, brought out her own card, and completed our purchase. Her reasoning? She "wants to make sure Halloween is fun for everyone". Thank you, to the beautiful soul who took a frustrating situation and just stepped up and showed love to a neighbor without knowing us or having to do so, simply out of the kindness of her heart! Spirit, you have a great product, and you found some AMAZING associates to staff your Spokane Valley...

Zero customer service! My friend and I were there between 1245pm and 1pm yesterday, nobody's greeted us or asked if they could help us at all. The so called employees were too busy sitting on the counters and talking to each other. It was quite obvious that I was looking at multiple boxes to see how much the big Scarecrow Animatronic was. Since they didn't feel the need to acknowledge our existence I refused to ask them questions or spend a dime of mymoney there. It's a shame since last year they had great customer service, they've lost me as a customer now and I'm sure are losing many more by the day. They have a great assortment of decor and costumes, too bad nobody working there actually want to sell it. I worked many years of retail management and otherwise and this is totally unacceptable. I'll be buying my decorations elsewhere this year. Shame on you Spirit for your lack of decent management at your Spokane Valley Indiana...
