I’m so glad I found Northwest Terraria! The owner was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful — I had a lot of questions (some more than once) as this is my first time caring for a reptile, and he answered everything without hesitation. Even on my first visit, when I wasn’t ready to buy yet, he still took the time to teach me about the snakes, their care, and the best type of enclosure to get for my child’s safety. He was even honest enough to recommend places to buy a more affordable enclosure, which really showed me his integrity and care for both customers and animals.
The shop itself is clean, well-kept, and full of healthy, beautiful reptiles at very fair prices. After handling a few snakes, I fell in love with one right away, and the owner gave me his contact info so I could check in to see if he still had the snake available. In the end, I couldn’t wait, and we went back just two days later to bring home our perfect little guy.
Overall, this is an amazing shop with a fantastic selection and an owner who truly cares. Highly recommend Northwest Terraria to anyone interested...
Read moreThis shop is amazing. We bought 2 baby beardies from here back in July. We have been all over S. Spokane to get roaches for them because they are growing like crazy and love to eat. NW Terraria is the farthest from our house and we make, what feels like, weekly trips to get roaches from here. Because it's worth it. The roaches are a good, solid size, and have very nice coloring, showing they are healthy and well taken care of. We get 50 for roughly $20. And our lizards, Hookfang and Yoshi, devour them. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and very kind. He is able to answer all our questions and seems to genuinely enjoy showing off all his available critters. I definitely recommend getting your next reptile and...
Read moreI’m not sure how anyone can state that these animals are healthy. The dragons have hammocks that are dangerous for them in WAYYYY too small of tanks and to top it off they are cohabiting dragons and pretty much all of their species in one tank there was 4 geckos and one of their tails was dropped. Anyone who owns reptiles would be sick if they went into this establishment. The tanks are filthy. And they don’t have the proper substrate let alone the amount of hides they need and they are all in very small tanks. I’m not sure how this place is even still running! Oh and if I haven’t mentioned there was geckos in little tiny rubber ware! Just stacked no lights or anything. I walked out...
