Honest In Ivory is exceptional in so many ways. I made a weekend out of going to many bridal shops in Spokane, and while they were all beautiful and kind, Honest In Ivory was in a league of its own. The service and staff, the experience, and the dress selection were all excellent. Upon walking in, I met Lauren and Alina, the wonderful stylists we would be working with. Both had amazing fashion sense and kind hearts. The type of people that look you directly in the eye, and make you feel beautiful. Lauren was extremely knowledgeable, listened closely/change dresses accordingly, and seem to be able to read my mind. Alina was in training, had the natural ability to put me at ease, and couldn’t be more fun. I felt lucky to work with both of them and with the store manager, Taylor. The experience from start to finish was beautiful and inviting. Before you even arrive, they send you a bunch of links so you can walk in feeling knowledgeable. My favorite little touch was a video they made to send to your girlies on how to be helpful while you’re trying on dresses. For example positive comments and helpful questions. Once you are there, you and your party get seated in a comfy room and offered a seasonal rotating mimosa. They already have dresses hanging up based off of the specifications you gave them in advance, and they make sure to never have more than five dresses in the room at a time. I think that aspect kept me from getting overwhelmed, and it was easier to make decisions when you’re trying on SO MANY dresses in one day. Last but not least, their dress selection couldn’t be more wide and fantastic. Lauren and Alina only brought me dresses that fit my specifications. Once I said that I wasn’t feeling something, they never brought a dress that had that aspect again. This is where I feel like Honest In Ivory stands out to all the rest. Their stylist don’t feel like car salesman that are trying to put you into whatever dress they currently have. Instead, they really want to put you in the dress that is perfect for you. The dress I said yes too was one that Lauren picked out specifically for me. Throughout my time there she realize the things that were important to me and brought a dress that might not have been the “look” I was originally going for BUT had ALL the qualities I loved and more. I immediately became my true self in that dress, dancing around, being playful and feeling incredibly beautiful. It goes without saying that it is an experience I will never forget, and I couldn’t be more happy with my wedding dress. Big thank you and all my love to...
Read moreI had the most AMAZING experience at Honest in Ivory. They were the very first bridal appointment I made. I filled out a survey online and my stylists, Laurel and Elyssa, had five dresses picked for me upon arriving. I was a bit all over the place with what I wanted, and they both helped me narrow it down quickly. I remember reading a stat on their website that most brides will end up in one of those first five dresses - I couldn't believe it, but the very first dress I tried ended up being my favorite. The stylists told my family they could shop the racks, but I didn't feel they needed to because they were such experts at asking me questions and knowing their inventory well to help find what I was looking for.
Laurel and Elyssa both did a great job making sure they had a pulse on how I was feeling in the dressing room before even showing my family. That was so important that I felt like they truly were in tune with my wants first. In addition, the fact that they are one of the only bridal shops that doesn't work on commission is HUGE. I visited another bridal shop later on, and received a really pushy and aggressive salesperson. I truly felt like they just wanted me to find a dress and it was so nice to leave, telling them I wanted to sleep on it, without feeling pressured.
I visited multiple other shops in the Seattle area and Honest in Ivory was by far the most professional, fun, and with the best selection of dresses around. I ended up coming back and picking the very first dress I tried on, and Kenzie and Scarlet were incredibly helpful in talking me through the alterations I wanted to make.
All the fun touches (like mimosas) made the shopping experience so fun, but mostly I felt respected and listened to and cared for. Would HIGHLY recommend everyone start here for...
Read moreI came to Honest in Ivory looking for a dress that I had fallen in love with on the internet! They had the specific gown I was looking for plus one I had tried on at another boutique (which I had a horrible experience at in Seattle) that I had loved as well. I had the privilege of having Laurel and Taylor as my stylists and boy did I luck out! Those ladies knew exactly what they were doing! I was really hesitant to want to look for a dress again after the first dress shopping experience I had at another place where I had left confused and quite upset with how I was treated. But these women quickly calmed my nerves! They had dresses pulled for me that I had described in my consultation and they had the two dresses I had specifically asked for also! The girls made trying on dresses SO much fun and they knew exactly how and where to clip you in so you looked and felt like the dress was made for your body. I couldn’t believe how amazing I felt! When it came down to the last two dresses I had a feeling with what I felt most comfortable with just by the questions they asked me as I was in the dress. Very helpful! I narrowed it down to THE ONE and I don’t think I could have done it without the help and encouragement of my best friend who came with me and my two stylists! If I could give Honest in Ivory ten stars, I would! They treated me like a Queen and made my dream dress come true! This was beyond the best bridal experience I could ever hope for! Thank you Laurel and Taylor! And thank you Honest in Ivory for having a truly remarkable woman owned company who knows how to make a bride feel like a bride! You made this experience so fun and easy and I could not be happier with the level of service and care that...
