I have had multiple returns at the Amazon desk in the last year. I have shopped for clothing there and gifts for family and friends more often at this Kohl's than any other place locally in person. Yesterday, I had a long visit in the store as I was both returning and looking for some essentials/a gift. First of all, Kaven was so helpful with my... five? Returns. It was such an expedient and easy process, I am so grateful to have this location for my Amazon returns. I enjoyed interacting with him and he gave me some support about an item nearby I was thinking of purchasing so not only did he help with my returns, he also gave me details that assisted me in my shopping experience.
Secondly, I saw Kat at the customer service desk. I interacted with Kat previously around the holidays. She is pleasant, cheerful, and informative. She explained the value of the Kohl's app which I will be sure to use and provided other details that I'll use in the future to assist my shopping goals. I find when it comes to having a shopping experience, I'm more likely to return to places that have people I look forward to seeing and this is certainly the case with Kat. And Kaven!
I wanted to leave this feedback on the kohls.com survey, but I didn't realize there was only one spot for a review, I thought there would be more pages to leave detailed comments. Thank you Kaven and Kat for all your help yesterday. Also, many staff members for the last year have been a distinct pleasure to work with. It is a pretty corporate situation, but these people definitely give it a friendly neighborhood vibe. Thank you all, see you soon :)
P.S. The store is extremely clean with sanitization stations, lots of obvious protocols in place, so I feel confident that this is a healthy environment to do a little...
Read moreI ordered a wedding band for my husband for our wedding this summer because khols no longer carries all their rings in store and says you have to order online. The ring came and the ring was too small so we went into the store the day before our wedding and the lady working in jewelry re sized my husbands finger and said he was a size 10. We got home, pulled the ring out of the box to find out it was too big, and was a size 10.5. We then went back to khols to explain we were given the wrong size and needed to exchange it for the right size (size 10). We were told that because khols does not carry the rings in store and did not have a size 10 there, that we would have to order another ring and be out the money for an additional ring, but that we could bring both the rings in with both the receipts once we received the new ring from online and that they would refund us for the old ring and give us our money back. We double checked with both the jewelry manager as well as the manager up at customer service to make sure that if we ordered another ring that we would for sure receive a refund for the old one. We were assured multiple times that we would be refunded. Today we came in to return the old ring and spent over 2 hours in store dealing with multiple employees and managers who claimedthat they cannot return the ring for a refund even though it was their mishap that this all happened. Finally after over 2 hours they told us they would give us the cash refund. Everything was so disorganized and was such a head ache. Read moreTerrible customer service, absolutely don't care about customers. I went in to return a wallet that didn't have a big enough window for a WA picture ID and a belt that was too big. I waited for 5 minutes in a line with 2 other people while THREE employees helped one woman try to find an out of stock item by calling other stores. I finally had to walk away without help and find another empty register with two employees standing off to the side.I asked for some help and was rudely asked if that was a return and told to take it upstairs. I expressed my displeasure at her co-workers and she literally said "ummmmmm" and I eventually walked away because she wasnt helpful. When I finally made it to customer service I made eye contact with the guy behind the counter and as I approached he disappeared into the back office. I stood there for a moment before loudly asking if I was going to be ignored again and if i had to wait all day. The lady that walked from the back office just rudely says "you can wait there all day if you like." I was fuming by this point and it took all of my energy to complete my return without exploding at her. I again expressed my displeasure at being ignored multiple times and being passed around to which she sarcastically apologizes. I'm not taking this up, she actually rolled her eyes at me and everything. I got the impression that as far as Kohl's is concerned, I'm the A-Hole and I deserved to be ignored and treated poorly.
