Small… but fantastic local products. Our beautiful Spokane area has a pretty short growing season but farmers bring out what’s seasonal and fresh. They are complimented by local bakers, ranchers, flower stands and even often a puppy food truck. I really enjoy trying things that are unique - some lemon cucumbers and garlic flowers were in this weeks picks!

This market is a little larger than the Spokane valley one, which is imo too small to really be worthwhile. It’s still smaller than we are accustomed to back home, which is a much smaller town. Lots of fresh produce sold by several different vendors. Friendly vendors. Pay cash to avoid sales tax.

This was listed as one of the things to do in Spokane. We went on a Saturday morning. It’s located in the oldest park in Spokane. It was really nice with plenty of vendors there. Pastries and coffee too!

Oh! It is winter know! I miss the little farmers market off 6th ave. This was so nice to have this summer and fall. The farmers there were a variety of growers ;there were veggies, fruits, flowers ,scones, and music ! I loved getting my food from any of them. Most are organically grown , making it so healthy for you. I visited often , from Spring to Fall. I got to know some folks by name. The little lady that sold flowers, grows them in.her.yard ! Gorgeous flowers of all kinds. Different flowers as the season went on. She was in the Spokesman Review paper, she provides flowers for weddings ! Anyway, the seasons went by and the growers veggies and fruit were so yummy . Check it out next year! Anyone can afford fresh food. They take EBT, and you can buy "coins" to use in $5 increments so you don't really have to worry about cash. GO! YOU...

This market is my personal favorite because it’s a one-stop grocery market with all the veggies, fresh gourmet mushrooms, herbs, fruit, cheese, bread, assorted baked goods, microgreens, drinks, and on demand food options I could want. It’s great getting to know the awesome vendors and talk about their farming practices gaining knowledge about where my food is coming from and who they are as people. Markets like this one strengthen our...

I love these farmers markets at Coeur d' Alene park. I think the dog treat vendor is my favorite. My dog and I have been coming since she was a pup and the treats are always the best! Plus walking up to order the woman is so kind and gives your pup treats and there is a bowl of water weighting outside. She even has a stack of sticks out. A super fun environment and your pup will...
