I normally don't leave reviews for places, but I felt like I had to. Simon was amazing and so talented, it blew my mind. My dad passed away 3 weeks ago and I wanted to honor him in the best way I knew how. And that was by getting his NYPD shield tattooed on me. I showed Simon my dad's actual shield and he took care of the rest. I'm amazed at how great it came out. When I left I sat in my truck and cried for a little bit, because obviously emotions are still very high. The guys were sensitive to my feelings, they knew how important this piece was to me and I can't thank them enough. They also hyped me up by telling me how awesome it was I was doing this & how cool the shield was. May sound silly, but it did mean a lot to me. Ironically, as I was there, there was an officer from Pinellas county getting work done too. I felt like it was a weird sign that I was doing the right thing.

I already booked an appointment for next week to see Simon again. This time to get the New York Rangers shield on my opposite arm.

I also really loved how intimate the shop is and of course, clean. Guys are super cool & friendly & I'm happy to give them my business going forward. My only regret is that I didn't find this shop sooner.

I’ve had plenty of tattoos done before coming to Ricky’s shop and I won’t be going anywhere else in town unless he moves! The work he does is amazing and he makes sure you’re happy with the design(s) and placement before starting. My first tattoo from Ricky was 2/2023 and I’ve come back for 5 more since then with more planned already. He makes you feel comfortable too, he’s so easy to talk to and get along with! I recommend him for anyone who asks where I’ve gotten my work done at. He’s mainly by appointments and will sometimes have walk-in availability posted on his social media...

6:52pm I asked about a tattoo and the guy inside told me if I was going to be in there any longer than the minute 30 I was In there that I had to get a mask about asking a question and asked if I could take a photo of the paper up front without it being under the glass due to glare and employee stated “no Thankyou “ and ripped the other paper from the counter and said “these aren’t available as of today”, employee was rude and tattoos are poor quality, I’d rather tattoo myself then get any...
