International Marketplace – A Global Pantry in the Heart of Vegas After years of globe-trotting and living across cultures, I finally stepped into the International Marketplace on S Decatur Blvd—and I’m still wondering what took me so long. This isn’t just a grocery store. It’s a passport to flavor, a museum of nostalgia, and a celebration of culinary heritage from every corner of the world. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by aisles that feel like embassies of taste. England’s crisps and biscuits sit proudly beside Germany’s gravies and sausages. Korean dumplings, Indonesian sambals, Thai curry pastes, and Middle Eastern spices line the shelves like a symphony of scent and color. Japan’s delicate teas and snacks share space with Italy’s pastas, sauces, and cheeses that whisper of Tuscan kitchens and Nonna’s secrets. One of my personal favorites—beans in tomato sauce—was tucked in like a warm hug from home. I love mine on toast, and finding it here felt like a little victory. But that’s just the beginning. They have candy, jams, jellies, soups, sauces, and gravies from every continent. Frozen meats and seafood from the farthest reaches of the earth. Whole fish, fish balls, and exotic produce—both fresh and frozen—ready to be transformed into something unforgettable. Housewares & Culinary Tools Beyond the food, the housewares section is a dream. Tea sets, cooking pans, woks, plates, bowls, and clever kitchen tools in every shape and color. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself planning dinner parties just to justify buying that hand-painted bowl or bamboo steamer. Cheeses, Butters & Breads The dairy section is a love letter to Europe and beyond. Butters from France, cheeses from the Netherlands, Italy, and the UK. Breads that evoke street markets in Istanbul or bakeries in Seoul. It’s all here, fresh and beautifully displayed. Atmosphere & Service Compared to other international grocers like Island Pacific, this place is cleaner, brighter, and far more organized. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, and the parking is ample. It’s clear that freshness and quality are top priorities—and it shows. Location & Details You’ll find this gem at 5000 S Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89118. Open Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Closed Sundays. Membership is available for extra savings, and yes—they accept EBT.
If you’re craving something from the old country, missing a childhood snack, or hunting for that elusive ingredient to complete your recipe—this is your place. It’s not just a market. It’s a memory lane, a cultural crossroads, and a...
Read moreThere are no words to describe this store. It is AMAZING. Probably the best, most interesting, and wonderful store in the United States. I wish they had one everywhere. Being a foodie, this store is THE best place to go anywhere.
As soon as I walked into the store I was immediately mesmerized and impressed by the amount of food that was available. I was in food heaven. There are aisles upon aisles of food from every country imaginable. You can literally spend hours and days at this store and never finish going through everything. I spent an hour in only one aisle and there are more than 15 of them! As I was walking through the aisles I literally stopped at every single item and had to write them down and put it in my shopping cart so that I could look up recipes for them later. So exciting! I thought that I was a certified foodie but was I ever wrong! Why go to a casino or hotel when I can spend all of my time and money here? Much more enjoyable and you learn so much!
The food is fresh and imported directly from all of the countries which is amazing. I have travelled a lot and whenever I leave the country I carry suitcases full of food back home. Now I never have to deal with overweight luggage again! I can just come here! Plus the prices are so cheap! The produce and seafood is super fresh and all of the workers in the store are super friendly and helpful. I love coming here because of the awesome food and people.
There is a membership here which is only $10 for a whole year! It lets you buy everything in the store at the membership prices which saves you 5%, and if you shop here as much as I do this is a real deal! GET THE MEMBERSHIP!
The only thing is that the store is a little disorganized. But seeing as there are more than 100,000 items in the store, it makes total sense.
Overall, this store is so amazing. If you haven't been here yet, please go, you will...
