Where do I start? I'll just start this whole thing at the drive-thru, where a homeless guy was next to the curb sleeping. We pulled up to the menu board to order food, and the gentleman running the drive-thru kept talking over us and asking what we needed, so we ended up having to abruptly belt out " we're looking, please give us a moment!!" When we finally attempted to order, he just kept talking over us ,and so we would wait and order in between his questions about what we wanted to eat, we finally got to the window and waited and waited and waited, because it was one employee doing all the work while the other(s) walked and stood around waiting for the world to stop spinning!! We got our food and weren't actually surprised by what was given to us, knowing what we were seeing going on inside with the employees not wanting to even be there. I ordered a " Jack's Late Night Munchie Meal and my wife ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl Combo," and I definitely have to say, all of it was straight fowl smelling, undercooked, cold grease filled garbage!!! My burger was supposed to be the ultimate bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, curly fries, and French fries. I got a very cold double cheeseburger ( cold hard grease around the patties), 4 onion rings, 1 curly fry, the rest being scraps, and a bunch of cold fries. My wife's Chicken Teriyaki bowl consisted of 3 small pieces of chicken, and underneath, it looked like waste from a panda express ( not the good waste either), an The egg roll was undercooked and looked like a cold mushy goo inside. Now, I know Jack in the box has never been the pinnacle of fast food royalty and is mostly looked at as the food of late night overindulgence from partying, but the food at this location will always be remembered as the " i don't know why i punished myself with that food ,even after you sober up trying to figure out what you got that left so much , all over the bathroom floor, in your friends backseat, and in the rose bushes by the front door!!. " this is a desperate last resort to filling your gut and wishing you would have waited a few more minutes to find something else...
Read moreI'm not sure what's going on with this place lately but it isn't good. Over the past month I have been here four times, ranging from 10pm-5am. Each time I'm greeted over the intercom with, "We're closed." in one of those tones that you know they hate their job. Can't say I'm surprised, I worked for one for one long ago and found a new respect for fast food employees. The problem is I ordered through the app each time to which suddenly they are able to complete my order. The third time I finally asked the employee why I'm greeted in such a way over the last three visits and she informed me it's a system issue. The fourth time I pulled up a few days ago and this time the app wouldn't process my payment. It would error out at both nearby locations. This was after attempting to go to the jack in the box on rainbow which the app had the same issue with and for some reason they were already closed, before their 2am closing time, which is also new, they were 24/7 for 10+ years until recently, with the employee clearly eating in the dining room. This time I was greeted with a sign on the intercom stating doordash and Uber only. I questioned the employee who didn't answer the intercom and was only prompted by me honking my horn at the window even though they looked directly at me through the window as I pulled up, he informed me they were doing this because he was the only person working ... Even though there were two cars parked in front. Either way, the place was empty, he obviously wasn't busy or doing anything concidering I literally watched him wondering around as I pulled up. As other reviewers have stated recently, what is going on with this location at night time, why are they literally trying not to accept orders and turning people away, and why has the corporate office not intervened when clearly the social media rep is responding to and aware...
Read moreJust went thru the drive thru here at 1205 am on december 2nd. Hispanic lady in the drive thru assisted. I ordered less than 20 dollars in food and i told lady that i would like 2 Buttermilk sauces she then said ok. When thr bag was given to me no buttermilk in hand so i knocked on window and told her where was my sauces. She then proceeds to tell me that buttermilk is only for a chicken order and nothing else😲. I told her that is not true i order all the time at this location and others and this is the first time im hearing on it. So she charges me for the sauce its fine it was less than a buck but the frustrating part is the lie that she told me its only for a chicken order. I just ordered two meals from you and i get there is a charge for extra sauce but this was not extra! Plus dont say ok when you ask me for sauce and not put it in my bag or mention a charge until i bring up to you that you forgot my sauce. Please retrain this lady she does not know what she is doing! Terrible service ontop of that. If you dont like your job find something else...dont put your frustrations on to...
