All of my jewelry has been purchased with Kay for as long as my husband and I have been together and I am sad to say that all of it will be sold and I will be purchasing from somewhere else. My stuff keeps losing diamonds and breaking and it takes weeks to be fixed.
It comes back with mismatched stones. The person called to say it was in but the rubys did not match so he wanted to send it back out. Told me to stop and look and make sure I agreed. I spoke to the person behind the counter and they handed it to me like nothing was wrong. I informed her that the stones were not even close to matching and she proceeded to fight with me for 15 minutes until I ended up taking the ring home. I cant sell it like this and wont be wearing it this way either. Will turn it into pawn shop for gold value.
3 stone certified ring came back with completely different diamonds than from when it was taken in when there was nothing wrong with the diamonds that were in there it was just supposed to be sized. Huge black spot on the center diamond now.
I bought a ring from them 2 years ago and it has been in 5 times for repairs already. This time it was taken in in July (After only having it back for 3 weeks from the previous repair) and I still 6 weeks later don't have my ring back.

Months of not having my ring. The end result was I needed a new ring that they stopped making⌠my customer care experience with Kayâs online services was absolutely horrible!!!! But I couldnât have got through this horrific time without Rebecca the store manager! She made everything so much better and helped more than she had to! She done everything in her power to make it right for me when corporate wouldnât. Overall, I wouldnât recommend Kayâs unless you get the help from this wonderful woman!! as well as the general manager of the store!! I will never step foot into another Kayâs. As bad as Springfield may be, the employees at this location will go above and beyond for the customers. This business should definitely appreciate the staff they have because honestly if it werenât for them, I wouldâve taken my business elsewhere!! so thank you Springfield employees at Kay jewelers for doing your job and not stopping until this situation...
