The focal point of this review is NOT regarding my experience at this facility, but centered on the management, training, and exploitation of current employees. A former employee provided notice of absence to a manager via text and phone call a short time before their shift. Already in anticipation of reprimand for this action, the employee was told by management NOT to report to work the following day, but instead contact a specific manager to obtain further direction. Upon following orders, the aforementioned employee was advised they were terminated for being absent without notice three consecutive times. I am personally writing this review because I watched this take place and the unprofessionalism displayed by the management team at this facility really makes me question the training regimen Buffalo wild wings has in place for their staff. Upon hire, I observed this same individual contact this facility seeking direction from management on new employee orientation and training, for several days before she was able to even speak to someone who was knowledgeable on the subject. This employee was also subject to working as a server PRIOR TO BEING QUALIFIED! Previously mentioned individual did not complete the final evaluation, which is a requisite for employees to complete prior to interacting with customers without a preceptor or trainer. Subsequent to reading this review, it should come to no surprise as to why the "Now Hiring" sign will forever be in the window at this particular location and if you plan on eating here, you should already have the forethought of waiting an extra 15 minutes on your order. In conclusion, I want to be clear that this is the only location I have encountered this type of issue, and I hope this review can be used in a constructive way. Perhaps amendments, additions or a redrafting of training implications should be considered. I hope this reaches the upper management of Buffalo Wild wings, and I would be happy to share more details with the appropriate staff to include regional or corporate managers in a more private and secure manner. I am optimistic that this facility will be able to create a more stable and structured management regimen with a little...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location is a mess. Make sure to check your order because it's always incorrect. I waited 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by staff for a take out. Waited well past my order pick up time only for it to come out incorrectly with half the order not even warm and the other half wrong. The manager Taylor was instantly argumentative, insisting I didnt order it that way...even after I showed her both my email confirmation and the app order confirmation. I asked her to remake the food correctly, not a huge request considering thats how I ordered it. She was huffy about it and reluctant. Surpassed that time frame as well and after being 45 minutes past my quoted order time I asked for a refund. She told me no originally. I asked for a manager and she said all she knew was the manager's name is Jamie but didnt have an email or number. She then tells me she refunded me, without ever touching the register or asking for additional information. I ask for a receipt showing such. She then takes a sharpie across my receipt and writes refund. I called another store and he said she had the ability to go in the back and refund me and she'd need the last 4 of the card number. After she heard that she printed me a refund request paper. She made snide comments. I left without the order. The charge is posted to my card today. I tried calling the location and was hung up on. Extremely unprofessional, lack of basic etiquette and extremely unorganized. Typically I drive to Huber to avoid the Springfield location...I will continue to do so as Springfield seems incapable of correctly preparing a simple order and by the reviews its clearly not an isolated incident. From my understanding this location is a franchise and not corporately owned, seems the franchise owner needs to send in quality control. Id suggest avoiding this location unfortunately unless you want to have to argue. Its like your inconveniencing her for her having...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place has taken a fall in terms of quality in hospitality and food level.
First off, after being seated for 10 minutes, we had to hunt down someone to get menus, then another 10 for a server (who happened to be bartender as well) came by to get drink orders.
At this point, I already knew we were on for a long evening so we made sure to order food when the drinks were brought out.
We waited close to 30 minutes for the food to be brought out (with nothing ordered needing a special method to cook) and when it did come out, things weren't right. My son's chicken tender mean only had 1 chicken tender and cold fries. My wife didn't get her side of sauce or celery with her meal, and my wings came out cold and also without celery. I also tried one of their bird dawg sandwich things and lol what a over-attempt of getting creative with new menu ideas - This thing was 1 boneless wing and a handful of bagged salad on a hot dog bun. You can't even eat a boneless wing on a hot dog bun, it doesn't fit inside the bun.
What an incredibly disappointing outing with the family. They weren't extremely busy and if they were short staffed, then I suggest you stop trying to fill every table and overload servers because it's not helping anyone.
By the way, we were surrounded by 3 tables where they were not cleaned for the entire duration of our time there, dirty dishes, food and drink containers sitting undisturbed for over an hour.
Not sure where the manager was but I can't imagine that's how things are supposed to be ran and operated.
I think I'm going to give Home Chef a try.
If you decide to go to BW3s, take your patience with you as you will more than...
