I would give them zero stars if I could. I waited in line for several minutes and, when it was finally my turn, they pulled one of three cashier's to help him with a project. Then, the girl who came up tried to take someone in front of me, for some reason, so I had to tell her I was first. She then ran off before ringing me to "get a drink of water." The lady who FINALLY rang me up had pin pad issues and I got charged twice. The assistant manager, Kara, refused to refund me, claiming that Sales Audit would send info to my bank at the close of the day, but, when I called my bank, they said Kohl's never sent that information. I went back in and Kara's story changed. She then claimed she "wasn't able to return the 2 items with the receipt I gave her, because she showed them in the process of returning it already." How could that be if they never did a return, just a void off a transaction the register never showed I did?" Kohl's doesn't have an option to put in a complaint on their customer service number either. Convenient. Never giving Kohl's another dime...
Read moreI went to Kohlâs with the sole intent of buying a pair of Nike walking shoes. The ones I wanted were on sale. My daughter had to find someone to help us, not the other way around. I gave him the shoe so he could scan it to see if they had it in my size. His handheld computer came back they had my size in the back. He was gone for quite awhile, returned empty handed and said the computer was wrong. I then asked if he had my size in a pair of slides. He looked on the same computer and said it shows they had it. Ran across the same problem. He came back empty handed. I tried on a pair of slides that were 1/2 size too small and they fit perfectly. I wouldâve given it 5 stars, but the associate didnât recommend a solution. As we were walking towards the elevator, a nice lady that works there that if we use their in house WiFi, order the shoe I wanted in my size and receive free shipping. I recommend visiting the store and if you come across the same problem as I did, you can follow my steps as mentioned earlier and get the specific item and size...
Read moreWhen you shop for shoes at a department store there's a display shoe and then all the sizes for that shoe directly underneath it, right? Pretty much the same everywhere you go.
I found a pair of Van's on sale and when I went to pay they said it wasn't on sale. I went back upstairs and showed the display shoe with the sale tag on it and the stack directly underneath it that I grabbed the shoes from. She then told me "oh sorry, we only have one size 8 of that shoe left over here." Which was in a completely different spot with no signage or anything. They were number coded or something but the only person who knew that was the associate who just offered to "look online." That pretty much rides the edge of false advertisement but it isn't worth the anger, stress or time to try to argue with them but I won't be returning there.
Plenty of other department stores that might be willing to do right by their customers since kohl's clearly wont.
By the way they were both black lowtops, the only difference between them was a white logo and a grey logo...
