I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but the day and experiences and Halls today deserve some recognition. When my dad and I first got there today, we noticed about 6 Heritage Softails sitting out front, given that’s what we ride we went right over to see what was there. We were met by a kind fellar in a flat cap and unfortunately I didn’t ask him for his name. I’m sure he was a salesman, but he wasn’t trying to sell us anything in the typical way, he just stood out front with us, answered our questions about what was on the line and we just chatted about bikes, riding and how unaffordable the nation seems to be right now. Next we were met by a kind woman in the clothing department who helped me search for a hat that fit my head cause usually I have a hard time finding hats that fit, we were successful. Once we left my dad’s front tire went flat about 7 minutes down the road, I called halls immediately and Brian wasted no time sending someone to us with a truck and trailer. We got back to the shop around 3:30 and they were closing at 4, yet they wasted no time jumping on my dad’s bike to get us back on the road. They even stayed late to finish and helped to other fellars with their bikes who pulled up a little late. The large gentleman with a ponytail at the front desk(don’t know if this is Brian)got all the information from my dads roadside assistance company over the phone and gave him a sticky note with said information so he could be reimbursed. My dad wasn’t even charged a full hours labor. I just wanted to say it was refreshing to see such care, not from a dealership to paying customers, but riders taking care of other riders, that’s what it’s all about....
Read moreWas at this location, due to the annual Biker Round up. Which was hosted at the county fair. Some of the people were very nice but only a couple had an attitude. I was asked if I needed any help. This was my 3rd day there, I had already purchased a few items. I said yes , I wanted to know why they didn’t have anything for their customer's far as beverages etc. Other states the round up has been in and this is the 47th, the Harley Davidsons represented and showed lots of love, refreshments, beverages and even cook outs, they definitely represented Harley Davidson in their cities. Especially due to the money being spent. So when this woman told me, at Hall Harley Davidson in Springfield Illinois that there was an igloo with water and cups on the table outside, I was taken back. We have spent our money and you have a parking lot full of people in and out who are spending at your store. Do better! Customers are the reason your store is up...
Read moreParts department is completely incompetent. They do not even know what models of bikes Harley Davidson currently makes when there is a brand new one sitting right in front of them on the showroom floor. My fiancé stopped by today to see if they have a part for our 2007 Nightster. When she inquired at the parts desk the parts clerk asked her if she was sure Harley Davidson made that model of bike and he stated he had never heard of a Nightster. Meanwhile there is a brand new 2023 Nightster sitting right in front of him on the showroom floor. This inspires zero confidence that there is any knowledge of the products sold here or that a correct part will be received. We will be taking our business elsewhere to a place that knows their brand and the products they...
