Teriyaki Madness — Restaurant in Springfield

Had the chicken teriyaki bowl with white rice and veggies and an egg roll both were very good. The chicken is a marinated chicken thigh grilled to perfection over a bed of steamed rice and veggies. I got the smallest bowl and as an adult that was definitely plentiful. It came with extra teriyaki sauce for my rice/ veggies. The service was nice and professional, the inside was clean as they just opened not too long ago. Parking can be tricky, just pay attention because the parking lot is very cramped. Yes I nearly got into a head on collision if I wasn't paying attention. Also don't hog the entire parking lot either, park in one spot not two. Stay off to one side not the middle. Probably the worst food I’ve ever ordered from a restaurant. My sister got noodles, which were extremely dry, but at least if you put soy sauce on them, you could some bring them back to life. The teriyaki chicken was grilled nicely in the vegetables were probably the best part the rice ruined the entire meal for me. I ordered a large with the hopes of saving Sam for lunch tomorrow, but the rice is so overcooked and mushy it is not edible whatsoever and then they gave me a ton of it. We tried today for late lunch. I had steak bowl with noodles; my wife had orange chicken with fried rice. She also tried an egg roll. The egg roll was way over cooked and generally tasteless. The steak was good (steak in the sense of steakum-like strips roughly 1x2”), but too soupy. The orange chicken was very good.

Cost for two small bowls, 1 eggroll and 1 soda (I had water) was over $33. I’m not sure how-we didn’t get a receipt. That’s too much for what we received.
