I recently had an incredible experience with Dr. Houston and the entire team at Rocky Top Oral Surgery, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From the moment I walked into their clean and inviting office, I felt so welcome. Dr. Houston's kindness and fun personality immediately put me at ease, and he took the time to thoroughly explain everything, addressing all my concerns with genuine care. He's truly exceptional at what he does.

The entire staff is equally amazing – communicative, friendly, and so kind. I especially want to commend Ryan, the anesthesiologist, who was incredibly nice and comforting as I prepared for my procedure. Going into surgery, I was understandably uneasy, but the nurses were absolutely fantastic. They patiently walked me through the entire process, calming my nerves and ensuring I felt comfortable every step of the way. I never needed to feel nervous thanks to their support. The care didn't stop after the surgery. I really appreciated receiving detailed post-op instructions, and the fact that they followed up with text messages to check on my healing and ensure I had open communication with them if I needed anything was truly above and beyond. It's clear that Rocky Top genuinely cares about their patients' well-being.

Dr. Houstan and the amazing ladies in his office went above and beyond for this terrified old lady. Their kindness and sense of humor put me immediately at ease. They talked to me, held my hand and cheered me on through a procedure that had me terrified (a stubborn post removed from my jaw that literally took 15 minutes😂). The compassion and genuine caring I felt is second to none. I opted to not go under because I felt such confidence in this team. For me that’s huge! They saw me as a person, not just an appointment. My care AND comfort was their number one priority. After surgery I experienced NO PAIN! I will recommend them to anyone far and wide who will hear me. I am forever indebted to them. We had an EXCELLENT experience using Dr. Houston at Rocky Top!! My husband had 4 wisdom teeth needing to be removed (that he had been putting off for many years). Being almost 40 years old, he was nervous about his surgery/recovery, but he is on day #4 post op and has had zero facial swelling and almost no pain. He rested over the weekend and is back at work Monday morning as if nothing even happened. He has been shocked how smooth and painless the whole experience has been! Dr. Houston talked with us before the surgery, spoke with me after the surgery, and even checked in later in the day to see if we needed anything or had questions. The front desk receptionist, nurse, and anesthesiologist were all really friendly & helpful as well.
