Worst experience ever. My son, daughters, and grandson were all going as a Christmas get together and my family experienced such poor service and they insulted my Son who is part of the LGBTQ+ community met with homophobic insults and they burned his leg and left him sitting with paraffin on his feet and he finally had to take it off himself and walked away from them. My grandson (who is bi- racial with Hispanic heritage) was asked to put his feet in dirty water (left from the person who was in the seat before him) and things were not sanitary. The rest of my family was so upset by this treatment that it wasn't a good experience. I am reporting this event to the state of Minnesota. The owner chewed out my daughters for not telling them that we wanted a design on our fingers and didn't give them enough time. My daughter made appointments and told them all the information on the phone, however while we were all sitting in the nail shop people were coming in and wanting nails done and so they were continuing to tell them to come back in an hour or so. Poor planning on their part is not my fault. Rudeness, racism, unsanitary practices, assault, discrimination against, aversion to, or fear of homosexuality or gay people is appalling and no one should support this business and their horrendous practices. My nails are so poorly done due to their lack of skills and planning that this place needs to be shut down . The amount of money we spent was first of all more than posted (false advertisement) and over priced. Not worth it!!! The picture is my nails and the other is the picture I showed that I wanted. Not...
Read moreOverall my nails look ok. I showed a picture and when I was looking at nail colors I had picked a color that was too light for the design but one of the employees (not the one doing my nails) found a color that was perfect and she was really sweet. The lady doing my nails didn't bring the acrylic down far enough to the cuticle on one of my hands so it looks like I have about 5 days of growth on one hand even though I just got them today, I can see where she missed painting part of a couple other nails because there is a clear line where my nail ends and the tip begins, which is kind of upsetting because I paid $75 for these nails. I wanted them much shorter but when I told the lady she tried to argue it. I'm not confrontational so I wasn't going to argue with it. I didn't tell the lady because it wasn't relevant and she was rude but I got them done for my small wedding ceremony this weekend so I'm frustrated that she did such an awful job getting towards my cuticle and didn't listen to what I asked for. After this weekend I'll have to remove them because I can't function at work with such long nails so that was a waste of $75. I understand I asked for a full set but when a customer asks to make them shorter listen to them. I've had much shorter acrylics in the past so there is no reason they had to be so long. I also noticed that the files used on my nails looked used, had nail marks from previous clients and I know those can't be sanitized since they're porous so hopefully I don't get any kind of infection. Overall rhe other employees were really sweet and helpful but the one who did my...
Read moreKim nails used to be my place to go. She put her customers first. She started to get so busy and hard to get into and said to make an appointment and it will be much better. I tried that and would sit 15-20 minutes past my scheduled time. It was my wedding a couple of weeks ago and a couple of my bridesmaids, my daughter (flower girl) and I all went to go get our nails done. One of my bridesmaids had a car issue so I hurried across town to grab her to get there as close to our scheduled time as possible. I tried calling to let them know we would be about 15 minutes late and no one answered. When I got there nothing but craziness began. It was the worst service I have ever received and was so mad since I had gone to Kim for about 3 years now. They acted as if it was an issue to PAINT my daughters nails. She was supposed to get nails and toes and ended up only doing toes with nothing but attitude. When it came to me the lady kept pointing out that we were late and had to turn so many people away and little did she know one of my bridesmaids was there on time who told me they didn’t turn anyone away. In the end I got charged an addition $5-10 for EVERY service I was provided. I’m sorry but I will NEVER go back after this. I guess I will search again for someone who at least treats one with RESPECT. I apologized over and over again for being late and got nothing but attitude and literally my arm tugged on and the WORST pedicure I have...
