i'm so angry i could spit right now!!!! On october 2nd i ordered my mother in laws christmas present from Ashcroft & Oak Jewelers i was told that it would be in around 6 weeks from the date of order. Six weeks came and went with no contact from the jewler about the status of my order i called 3 or 4 times and could not get an answer and was told id be called back. At one point i was called back but not to be told when my order would be in oh no i was called and invited to christmas party to view some of thier new collections and probably have them try and talk me into spending more money. so about a week or 2 ago i called and asked not to be called back but to be put on hold i was given some story about the jewler being on vaction for the ENTIRE month of november i get that people have to have vactions but who does that during the buisest shopping time of the year??? so i was told it would be in by the latest 12/21/18 i was assured that it would be in by then. now when i called to double check im told that what she meant was it would be shipped by the 22nd and in by christmas eve. i know exactly what she meant when she told me it would be in by the 21st. because i said that would work because our christmas party is the 22nd. besides that do i look like i want to make an hour and a half drive ON CHRISTMAS EVE to go to a mall. on thursday i will have paid $450 so far on this ring but at this point im considering seeing what can be done to reverse the loan i got for it seeing as how ashcroft and oak cant deliver as i was...
   Read moreThey fixed my wedding set to the best of their ability that I purchased from another jeweler. Megan and Suzy made it a pleasurable experience. We decided to purchase me a whole new set due to the pleasant 1st experience. That is where I went wrong! Megan designed my engagement ring and I had the enhancer changed a bit. Ordered the rings end of May. Was PROMISED my engagement ring would be here before my bday on June 10, 2024. Their staff has NEVER once called to give us an update on the ring. We have always had to call them and more often than not, they do not call us back. Suzy and Megan have made MANY excuses. 3 weeks ago Suzy told us that my ring would be here by September 23,2024. We called yesterday and there was yet ANOTHER excuse. Said the jeweler couldnât make it in to the store. Come to find out the jeweler doesnât even have my ringâŠâŠ. Tried to call Stellar to find out about my ring but they wonât tell me anything because I am not a jeweler. Now Suzy is saying she canât find my account # to obtain any info from Stellar. Apparently Stellar canât find any info either. I am beyond FED UP with the excuses and liesâŠâŠ.. I am paying on a ring that I donât have and no one seems to know where it is. I decided I wanted it modified so we took it back with a loose pear shaped diamond that we had gotten elsewhere and asked them if the center stone could be replaced with the diamond. The associate told us that we had to make an appointment with the jeweler. We returned a week later to our appointment, we didn't even get the chance to talk to the jeweler, he looked at it for not even 2 minutes and told us that it couldn't be done because the ring didn't have enough support for a bigger diamond and the associate immediately told us that our only option would be to buy another ring. I'm absolutely not a jewelry expert but I know that taking out the current stone and making a new setting for a bigger stone was absolutely possible. The jeweler didn't care to work out any options with the current ring I had. The associate didn't care to figure out a solution to the problem. I was disgusted that they immediately jumped to us buying a new ring without hesitation. It's my engagement ring with a lot of sentimental value that can't be replaced with a new ring. We took it to another jeweler that same day and in that same mall who said that it can be done. I have bought other jewelry at this store besides my engagement ring and I was always enamored at the selection they carried but I am so insulted by their lack of care...
