I agree with another reviewer who said that the section of extremely racist items in this store is disturbing.

To make matters even worse, there is a watermelon figurine amongst the very harmful depictions of Black people. These items appear to be of the slavery and Jim Crow eras.

It is unfathomable that the shop owners think that this is at all acceptable. If you think these items have historical value, donate them to a museum where they can be placed in the proper context rather than displayed as twisted...

This is a large shop expanding to two stories with a ton of home decor and gifts. It is a beautiful old building from the 1800 that was later remodeled for Maryland National Bank. The store is like a labyrinth packed with anything you can imagine from cosmetics to jewelry, decorations for your home, gifts, pillows, wall hangings, artwork, antiques and collectibles. I’ve been having a difficult time processing what I saw in a corner of this store today. Please reconsider the items that are racially insensitive to many. The mammy caricatures and additional insensitive statues staged in the corner of your store...
