We love everything about San Miguels. A family owned and operated business providing great food and service. The hostess is courteous and accommodating. The owner, Jennifer, is always present and welcoming. The service is awesome. The whole team works cohesively and professionally. The food is freshly prepared and presented with a festive flare. The salsa, guacamole and house made sauces are delicious. The beef and chicken is cooked to perfection with a wonderful blend of spices. The margaritas are delightful and the tequila selection is amazing. It’s a great place to enjoy great food! We also love Jennifer’s additional restaurant, The Galley. We highly recommend both locations for an excellent dining experience!

Had an amazing first visit for lunch to this cute local place. The food was delicious and so filling that I actually skipped dinner! We ordered the enchiladas, empanadas, street corn dip and some classic margaritas! While service was a bit slow it was apparent that one girl was working the entire restaurant and she was killing it!!! Very friendly, apologetic for the wait, and helpful with our orders :) all around a nice addition to the neighborhood, can’t wait to go back and try some of the other specials on their menu!

The most unbelievable experience we've ever had! We visited St. Michael's , MD in October, (the week of 10/14), 2024. My wife and I were with two other couples, where we spend a week in that beautiful town each year. We decided to give San Miguel's a try, and let me just say, it was amazing! The food was fantastic, the decor was incredible , the service was tremendous, and the owner, Jennifer, was like no owner that we've ever met, anywhere? I'll elaborate in a minute.

First off, each and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. A favorite was the Chimichanga! The margaritas were the choice for each of us. They were excellent! The waitresses were very attentive to all of our needs. They were on top of everything we could have wanted, even though they were tending to other tables. The owner, Jennifer, took the time to greet us at our table, and went on to explain how she and her husband ended up opening a Mexican restaurant in St. Michael's. It was definitely an interesting story. Just to have an owner stop at your table, without hurrying to slip away, and take the time that Jennifer spent with us says a lot about the way she runs a business. We thanked her for a great meals, drinks, and service!

Here's what completely blew us away;! I went up to the counter to pay for our meals, I was looking across the street at Jo Jo's cream shop, when I saw the owner begin pulling in the signs, and putting a closed sign in the window. The time was approximately 5:59 pm. As Jennifer was taking my money and giving me change, I asked if there was another ice cream place in St. Michael's that was still open, as there was a gentleman closing his ice cream store across the street from her restaurant. Well, as soon as I mentioned that he was closing up, she handed me my change, ran out from behind the counter and across a very busy Talbot Street, and began speaking with the owner of the ice cream shop. She spoke with him for approximately one minute, then headed back to her restaurant. As I walked outside, she was coming back to her restaurant when she gave me the thumbs up and told me that he would remain open for the 6 of us in our party to enjoy a taste ice cream! I was absolutely in awe that an owner would go to that extent for customers that she had just met! We couldn't thank her enough for what she did for us!

Jennifer, we will definitely be back next year for the food, drinks, and because of your willingness to go above and beyond what no other business owner has ever done for us! Way to go young lady!

Thank you for such a great experience! We wish you nothing but the best with your...

I really want to like this restaurant because it’s a pleasant spot in town, and the staff truly make you feel welcome. However, the food and drinks fell short of expectations.

The $6 Margarita was OVERLY sweet, masking the flavor of the tequila and lime. I did not have high expectations due to the price but I really could not enjoy it. Probably the mix being used need to be changed ??. When it comes to the food, the steak taco was quite greasy, which made it heavy rather than flavorful. The grilled shrimp taco was especially disappointing, the shrimp tasted boiled instead of grilled, and the cabbage was raw instead of the tangy, pickled style that usually adds freshness and balance to seafood and fish tacos.

It’s a nice place to relax and enjoy the setting, but the kitchen could use a little more attention to flavor and...

San Miguels is the cutest, woman owned, small business right on Talbot Street. The restaurant was small, tastefully decorated and with no frills, but don’t let that deter you - the food was, as my husband and I say “That definitely doesn’t suck” meaning it was absolutely delicious!!! We loved everything about it- fresh ingredients, well seasoned, prepared and homemade!! The trio dip (guacamole, queso and street corn dip), carne asada tacos, ahi tacos, all the sauce options and Spanish rice were amazing!!! All margaritas are made fresh with agave and lime juice, not gross sour mix at no additional charge which was a nice surprise. You have to save room for the most delicate apple pie empanadas for a sweet treat to end your meal! We will definitely be back and are excited to try all the other options they...
