I had been meeting with the sky and nittany Mall. The former nittany Mall or whatever you want to call it for at least 2 years. We'd run into each other. I'd ask questions. He would have answers. He would be repairing somebody else's phone as I stepped up to the cubicle as you would call it in the nittany Mall? I asked him a few months ago if we could have my 14 years old daughters Google Pixel 4 XL screen replaced by him. If we brought the screen in? He said absolutely sure no problem. Well I ordered one in June of 2022. It came about 6 to 8 weeks later from California damaged. I did not open the box. I did not force the box open. I put it in a very safe place. When I had the money to pay for the labor to have the good used screen installed in my Google pixel 4 XL of my daughters, he opened the packaging and said it's shaped like a banana. It's no longer flat. It was damaged and shipping. You need to return this to the selling person on eBay. Ask for a refund or replacement. I will not install this damaged screen with the frame. So I returned it properly with signature delivery through the United States postal system to the original selling person on eBay. They received it undamaged and signed for it and I asked for my money back. Plus I was going to spend more money on a better screen than they ship me? They have blocked their account no longer or selling on that account. I've tried to contact eBay. They told me to contact the selling dealer on eBay. eBay is about to get a rude awakening over this? My ex-wife had to pay for a brand new screen so we knew it was guaranteed not to arrive damaged about 4 to 6 weeks ago. From this time I finally got the money around by selling things around the house to pay for the labor to install the new screen into my daughter's phone. Well my install guy from nittany Mall moved up to Beaver Street and State College. The heart of Penn State Lion country roar!!! Anyway, fast friendly service professional grade quality service of screen replacement without the frame this man performed last Saturday! My daughter of 14 years of age is so happy. So delighted that I took her to this new location for our guy we've been talking to for two years to install the new LCD screen digitizer into her Google pixel 4 XL. I am confident that this man or men can replace any screen without a problem. It may take them some time but they do quality work for a quality price. Highly recommended by me. Although I mostly review businesses with good super good food. Actually I did a review before this about super good food with pizza and hot dogs in the alley down below from this business. Yes it is hard to see from the street so you have to be wise and find a parking spot close within a block to two blocks away. Pay for the parking walk up the street. Find the insurance just past the open window bar serving alcohol that smells like a bar and food. There's a staircase you go up. You take a left and right there is the door to i cell phone repair company on Beaver Street State College, Pennsylvania. Highly recommended once...
Read moreI had an amazing experience at this shop and would recommend them to anyone needing phone or device repairs.
My iPhone screen suddenly stopped working—I couldn’t unlock it or use it at all. I brought it in for a free diagnostic, and from the start, everything was handled with clarity and professionalism. They gave me upfront pricing with no hidden fees or surprise add-ons, and even walked me through the difference between OEM and aftermarket screen options so I could choose what worked best for me.
After replacing the screen, they noticed the phone was running unusually hot. They called me right away to explain what was going on and suggested replacing a small $15 internal part to fix it. It was clear they genuinely cared about making sure everything was in great shape before I came to pick it up—and they only charged me for the cost of the part. No pressure, just honest advice.
Throughout the process, they kept me informed, set an accurate expectation on the timeline, and were proactive and transparent when something unexpected came up. To top it off, they even gave me a complimentary case since I didn’t have one—such a kind touch!
Everyone I interacted with was super friendly, and I never felt rushed or upsold. This is the kind of business you want to support—trustworthy, helpful, and customer-first....
Read moreIt’s a very helpless feeling when your iPhone screen fails to respond to a swipe or tap! The first step is a hard restart (press top and bottom volume buttons, then right side button), but if this fails, I found the place(s) to go. It’s not the AT&T phone store in town. It’s I-Cell on Beaver Avenue or at the Mall. The AT&T folks sent me there after I showed them my non-responsive screen. I walked in to the I-Cell low overhead office, dropped my phone off with Elmir and 15 minutes and $125 later my screen worked fine, I had a new phone case, and a warranty. Extremely happy to get my phone working again so quickly, at AT&T they told me it would be out a couple days if I had to get a new phone and transfer the data....
