I tried to return an unworn sweater with tags still attached and receipt and the cashier told me that the item stank and would therefore not return the item. I’ve literally never been treated this horribly before and never been told I stink. Too bad I’m a local looking for a place to spend my money because I definitely will never be returning to this store. I will also be sure to keep any of my several yearly visitors from spending any of their money at a place where not only is customer service non-existent but also insults are hurled (in front of other customers none the less). I came into this store and the sales lady never looked up from her phone. I asked what sizes the size small overalls were supposed to fit and she very sarcastically and rudely said “I don’t know I guess you’d have to try them on wouldn’t you” and went back to her phone. I’ve lived in steamboat 4 years and have brought several visitors to this store but the customer service recently has been so poor my conscience wouldn’t let me purchase anything from this place again. I visited Steamboat for the weekend and found a dress I liked. I hesitated and ended up not buying it. I have since changed my mind and called the store to see if I could pay and get it shipped.
