The heavyset woman at the register with the burgundy and brown butterfly locs should not be on anybody’s register. Her attitude is detrimental to the success and overall vision of the brand. Usually the staff is upbeat and greats you as soon as you walk through the door. The team that’s working at the time that this review is being written is pathetic. It’s so sad that we can’t trust our employees to do the job that we pay them to do. It’s just unfair to the people that are invested in the success of the company. I’m not sure if the cashier is having a bad day but she literally took about 15 minutes to ring up about 8 items. That’s unacceptable. When I approached the register we waited for a few minutes until the cashier decided to come to the register. (Keep in mind she saw us there the entire time. She was not very far.)When she finally arrived, she instructed us to wait and began to pick up trash and rearrange things behind the counter. She moved slowly as she did this as well. As she rung up my items very slowly, (which you could clearly tell was deliberate) she took all of the costume jewelry that I had selected and balled it up in her hands like a piece of crumbled paper causing the necklaces to tangling. Read moreI went to this store to spend a lot of money, but I am a big advocate for good and quality Customer Service. I treat people how I want to be treated. My experience today was absolutely negative and non acceptable. If I would have wore my uniform , then I would have been treated differently. I walked in the store there is no employee to assist with anything and no one near the register. I search for the employee and found her at the back of the store.After searching for a particular youth size in uniforms, I finally walk over to the employee. said hello and she looked at me like I was crazy. I proceeded to ask my general question about the product that I wanted to purchase and she rolled her eyes as if she was agitated and says well if you don’t see it then we don’t have it.She didn’t even try to search or help. Read moreI was making a return and the gentleman stated that he was not authorized to do a exchange so I waited about 5 minutes for the manager to come up front. When she arrived she had an attitude. She rang up all the items asked me a few questions and then proceeded to stuff my items in the bag. She didn’t attempt to fold them at all. When I got home the clothes were so wrinkled they looked as if they had been worn. I will not be returning to ANY Citi Trends EVER.
