The Hobby Shop — Local services in Stockbridge

My friends and myself went there to try and find parts for their cars and find parts for my car. We were thoroughly surprised at the availability of parts. All the guys who worked there were super helpful towards my friends and myself. My friends were grateful that they were able to get the parts they needed. Also on another note, I originally went for parts to upgrade my Arrma Voltage Granite. But one thing caught my attention. This store was the only hobby store to have a Traxxas E-revo vxl 1/16 scale. To top it off they had the color mini erevo I wanted. I also want to point out that they did not have the Traxxas battery plug connector that I could use for my P1 mini charger, so they in turn took apart a universal one and applied a Traxxas plug to it and solder it to where it looks original. Once again this shop was super awesome from start to finish. Definitely shop there...

I’ve been in there three times the last time was with my son to purchase his first RC car my son paid for it in cash using five dollar bills it was $235 dollars. They took the time to have my son counted out to really understand the value of money vs cost of goods. Whenever I’m hunting parts or window shopping with my kid. It’s a REAL HOBBY Shop for people who appreciate the value of having a brick and mortar location available… I will gladly spend my money with people who are worthwhile. They are! Many smiles per dollar even if the cost of goods has to reflect their overhead we are lucky to have such a valuable resource of knowledge and fair...

It is nice to have parts available the same day, but at a cost. I understand the local people need to make a profit. No harm in that. I have been in there multiple times and each time I feel like an outsider. If you show up with something they don't sell or endorse, the staff looks at you like a bum on the street. Sorry that I bought my RC online and costs less than what you sell, but the attitude is horrible in this place. They do have a good assortment, but only for the major brands. 3 stars only for having what I needed...not the quality of service. I really do hate going there but sometimes I don't...
