I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding a highly unpleasant and unprofessional experience I encountered during my visit to your donation center on August 2, 2025, as a new donor. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM, and from the moment I arrived, I was met with unnecessary hostility and poor treatment by a staff member named Shaniqua Malcolm. Upon entering, Ms. Malcolm gave me immediate attitude and instructed me to sit and wait without any further guidance or courtesy. I waited for an entire hour before she gave me the donor binder to review. After promptly completing that task and returning the binder, I continued to sit without any updates. Around 1:30 PM, Ms. Malcolm called me to the desk, asked a few questions, and then repeatedly walked away mid-conversation without any explanation or communication. This behavior was not only dismissive but incredibly unprofessional. Fortunately, a staff member named Corey Greer noticed the situation, approached me, and handled the process with care and professionalism. After my screening, I was again told to wait at the front, where I sat for another 30 minutes with other customers who were also waiting without any communication from staff. Employees passed by and observed us but failed to acknowledge or update anyone. Ms. Malcolm eventually returned with visible frustration and an aggressive tone. She asked if I was going to complete my physical now or wait. I responded that I preferred to do it right away due to the three-hour delay, to which she yelled, āWell, itās only one of me and Iām not doing your physical.ā This outburst was witnessed by others, and several fellow donors commented on her attitude toward multiple customers throughout the day. Mr. Greer once again stepped in, professionally asked me to explain the situation, and informed me that after he asked her to do my physical that Ms. Malcolm would not be handling my physical. He apologized for the incident and offered for me to return on Monday with an extra incentive for the inconvenience. While I appreciate Mr. Greerās professionalism and effort to resolve the matter, the experience left me extremely dissatisfied and reluctant to return. The treatment I received from Ms. Malcolm was completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on your center. I had hoped for a respectful and welcoming experience as a first-time donor, and instead, I felt disrespected, neglected, and mistreated. I am submitting this formal complaint with the hope that appropriate action will be taken to ensure no other donor has to endure the same treatment. Based on this experience, I am currently reconsidering any future visits to this location or recommending it to others. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to receive a response addressing the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFreedom plasma is scamming the new donors I started donating in march and was told my 8 donations must be completed in 45 days to receive new donor fees . I went today on 4-4-24 expecting to get the 130 I was promised and after my completed donation was told the new donor fees for April changed and I was getting those fees now instead . This is false advertising I have sent 7 people not including me and my wife here and now feel as though Iāve been robbed and scammed out of what I was promised. I kept my end of the deal and have donated twice a week since becoming a new donor . I have been in plasma for 26 years and and have never seen a donation center be this blatantly dishonest. Then when I asked to speak to a manager I was told that they only have an assistant manager at the Stonecrest ga location and no one has a number or way of contacting corporate or upper management . The manager I spoke with stated she was sorry and itās not the first time this has happened but there was nothing they can do . She told me to leave a review and someone will contact me . But the solution is to just leave a review. This is really dishonest to promise your new clients one thing then to switch to another itās false advertising and very unprofessional. I contacted whistle blower news and wsbtv and they are willing to run the story the just asked if I had reached out to management or corporate before they take over so this is what Iām doing now . Iām ok with the long waits even with an appointment but to be cheated this way is truly unacceptable. And if freedom canāt stand by what they advertise and tell potential new donors lies to get them through the door I feel Atlanta needs to know and maybe when people stop coming they will take notice. I truly hope this issue can be resolved quickly if not I will be forced to go to the media. And in all honesty I have better things to do with my time to me itās just the principle of the matter just like people depend on plasma products to live donors depend on the compensation to live as well. . Hopefully someone will do the right thing because the staff is not the problem but now are part of it. . I have also left a direct message on there website message function so now Iām leaving one here as instructedā¦ā¦ā¦ just an update called center today and was greeted by rude employee that told me basically to go elsewhere and donate. He also stated that they donāt have to honor the pay scale they promoted. And it can change when ever they feel like it we just gotta deal with it . This is the worst customer service ever. There is no Marissa at the 470 number guess they donāt value us as donors. Ps no one has reached out about the issue just a message saying they are looking into it and will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFIRST TIME DONATING? Read this review. Just know trying to get some extra cash for groceries and gas for a single mother can turn into you dropping your kids off and never seeing them again. My thoughts every time Iām here. Never confident in their 1 week trained staff. Now I donāt want to be disgruntled but I will express the truth. Great fee schedule. (Even though they are making thousands hand over fist from our donations selling it to pharm companies- well they are owned by one so not sure how that works.) The short light skinned lady with shaved sides and locs is the best overall! She just seems like she cares about your life and experiences, not just her biweekly pay. Milk chocolate with shaved head and short cute cut (Nikia?) is the best to stick you. Not super friendly but gets the job done with pride. The lady with the blonde patch (reminds you of a skunk, stinky attitude, non existent altitude to match) is great at getting people in and out but reader the level of communication and education non-existent. I accept her for who she is. Iāve had 3 near death experiences (in my opinion anything is life or death when I lose liters of blood that arenāt returned by a choice that is not mine or of my own) if she would of told me my blood would coagulate at a certain rate I would of been more assertive about restocking me. But they are not there for that. She only gives you a chance to understand what she deems you need to know. Upgrade your SOPs to deal with customer concerns first before even service. Yāall are dealing with peoples lives. Wasnāt planning on ever returning but they made it super easy by deferring me for 56 days. The leadership- Damon a joke. I was having a whole panic attack needed air. He was more concern with me drinking a Gatorade with artificial dye than my emotional and mental well being. I am TRAUMATIZED for life! (Call psychologist now and crying as I write) Damon Only leaves the watch tower when the blonde patch lady canāt pacify clients with manipulation and desperation of the donors being financially stricken. From an all black customer to an all black staff Iām hurt! No more stab labs for...
