I called to clarify what my note meant (which I was not asking for anything additional). A gentleman released a loud sigh and began to yell at me in frustration. He stated “I should learn to read and pay attention, that EVERYONE understands the menu, but myself”. I literally could not get a word in. I then began to elevate my voice to get his attention. It was not the amount of the up-charge, it was simply I did not want the extra item. I then told him if he did not adjust his volume and tone, I would cancel the order. With a condescending tone, he told me I wont be able to cancel anything because the driver is on the way. I ended the call and got right on the phone with UberEats and cancelled. Read moreI waited in line for over 15 mins and was told over 3 times, that he would be right with me. After waiting over 15 mins, I said, excuse me and asked if my order could be taken. The associate says please give me a few more seconds. I said you said that 15 mins ago. He said I know we're really busy with online, you're going to have to wait anyway so a few more seconds. He never said please, my time is valuable and I work hard for my money, so I expect good customer service, or at least to be properly acknowledged.
I understand your busy and things get hectic, however put the online order on hold for 3 minutes, while you to take care of the customer who has come into your establishment. Then you can have me wait extremely long to take care of the orders that came before me.
