My experience with Andi & her shop, Love Bird Bridal was very unique but i wouldn’t change it if i had the choice.

I had a nightmare experience at a large bridal shop in the town i live in Florida & the Monday night before my Saturday wedding i was sitting in my living room with tears in my eyes and a ruined wedding dress. I quickly posted on a Facebook group for brides in Connecticut and a handful of knowledgeable woman told me to go to Andi. I sent Andi a panicked instagram direct message at around 9PM and by 10PM we had a set plan and Andi was there to help.

The week of my wedding Andi and her team were working overtime to get my dress ready in a mere 4 days and we’re scheduling multiple fittings a day outside their normal operating hours and I’m sure sacrificing precious hours with their families and skipping meals to make sure i had a beautiful dress for my wedding day.

Andi and her team make you feel like family, they truly want you to feel your absolute best on your wedding day and they are all so talented and dedicated to perfection.

If you have the chance to support women like Andi and her team you will not regret it, big bridal shops lack the personal touch that made my experience with Love Bird Bridal so special. My wedding would not have happened if it weren’t for Andi and her team and i am eternally indebted to them.

It's a shame that I can't give more than 5 stars on this review because the team at Love Bird deserves them all. From the initial appointment until the day I picked up my dress, the Andi and Ali were kind, comforting, and supportive. I have been to other bridal shops as a bridesmaid and those experiences gave me such anxiety about dress shopping. I did not want to feel pushed or pressured. The experience at Love Bird is the complete opposite. Ali guided me through my initial appointment with kindness, patience, and impeccable taste. I felt so at ease expressing my opinions and I felt understood. I should also mention that the boutique is GORGEOUS. I didn't go to any other bridal salon another going to Love Bird and selected a dress that day.

Andi, the designer, worked with me on fit and all the details. She is hilarious, down to earth, and insanely talented. She was so patient with my every request and every change (and there were some curveballs I threw at her). It was so clear that she wants her brides to feel amazing and that's her priority. I got the exact dress I wanted and felt so beautiful in it.

Ali, Andi, and the Love Bird team--I can't thank you all enough. The dress, the experience, you all as humans absolutely knocked it out...

I cannot say enough amazing things about Andi and her team at Love Bird Bridal Shop in Mystic. In searching for my bridal gown, I was struggling to find one that was made in the US (I was on a time crunch, worried about my gown arriving from out of the country on time, and would rather keep the money in my own community). I was thrilled to find that Love Bird right in my hometown of Mystic not only had US-made gowns, but custom-to-you gowns made right in CT as well! I met with Andi many times to select and customize my gown from her own line (Andria Bird). Andi created the gown of my DREAMS for me - simple, classic, and including some sentimental and handpicked components that I never would have gotten from another bridal shop. Andi's attention to detail, personality, and laid-back energy (MUCH needed in the wedding planning process) are amazing. I am still receiving endless compliments on my gown, and am going to treasure it forever. Andi, I cannot thank you enough...
