Torrid — Local services in Strongsville

when into the store to do some shopping for my girlfriend who i plan on surprising with a vacation this weekend and thought some new cloths would be good and I've been to the torrid in akron and they have wonderful people there. but when i went into this one i was created with a hello welcome to the store by one of the employees and the other kind of just glared at me as i walked by heading twords the lingerie and i asked if the one i had in my hand came in a different color that they had there in other sizes and was told "well the is the right size maybe if you looked a little harder" and i took that as alright maybe i could have checked one of the other locations but because i was one of 2 customers in the store i figured asking about something would be ok. eventually she helped me find what i was looking for and when i got to the check out i asked if you took paypal (because i know some stores do) and the same girl looked at me all confused and i said you know paypal some places you can login on the key pads and she said "well thats stupid if you wanted to use paypal you should have just gone online" at this point I'm just done with this person and handed her my credit card and when i was getting ready to leave asked her for her name and she crossed her arms and just looked at me and may or may have not told me her real name in short i will not be going back there again i will stick to driving extra to go to the akron mall….. the girl in description was maybe 5'6 dark hair green or maybe blue eyes hard to tell with all the dark makeup said her name was brittany supposably but i don't know if i believe that. people have bad days...

Great staff! I had a dress I was returning quite late. Concerned, I called over the phone to make sure I could still return it since it had a stitching error. On the phone they said yes. In store the girl was different than who I'd spoken to, and informed me politely that there is a strictly adhered to return policy, but since I'd been told otherwise she would still honor the return. I appreciate the cooperation since I wouldn't have made the drive without calling first. She was very sweet and let me do an exchange. I was worried about giving her name as I don't want her to get into trouble, but I've been back many times since due to this young woman. (Not to return things late, just to buy things). The clothing is high quality, although...

I like Torrid, unfortunately... i gotta save up to buy anything...still dont understand the ridiculous high prices on thin t-shirts, spaghetti strap blouses, leggings etc...just because were big girls and china doesn't get our bodies?..so we pay more, much more.... clearance bonus sales are the best and pretty much the only way to buy things I like without the high prices..... but then you're at the mercy of what products you like that may or not be in clearance...
