I went to Zales yesterday to have my rings cleaned and hair removed off of my diamond cross chain. This incident took place after 5 pm at the Zales located in South park Mall. In the past I have had hair removed from the chain and one time the lady behind the counter replaced the chain. This was my third time coming in regarding hair on my chain. The two unprofessional and very rude women tolerated, my presence instead of celebrating my business. I would have gladly purchased another chain if presented with that option instead the younger woman gave me back my chain after shooting daggers with her eyes the whole time she pretended to remove the hair off the chain. I told the younger sales rep in the past the chain was replaced she stated she never heard of that before. Just because you never heard of that does not mean this did not happen. She then informed me she could give me the managers name and number I declined her assistance with that information. A couple came in after me and the customer service they received was very good. The older sales rep did not refer to the woman customer as sweetie and let the couple know the procedure for leaving her ring to be sent out for down sizing. I asked for my rings to be cleaned, on my engagement ring a diamond is missing. The older rep was given my husband's cell number in order to look up the account. Total silence while I stood there I had to ask her to explain to me what she was doing. She told me she was setting up service for my ring to be sent out. Not one time did she acknowledge she found my husband's account or if I even wanted my ring sent out since it was still under warranty. I asked for my rings back and told them to have a nice evening. Why did my fiancé pay for full coverage insurance if it’s not gonna cover two measly sapphires that shouldn’t have never fell out to begin with? Not to mentioned once they realized it wasn’t an expensive diamond ring everyone’s tone change and their urgency was immediate directed to other people who came in after me, the one lady proceeded to loudly yet indirectly tell the other associate they won’t size my ring because I’m going to lie and say they took the sapphires out . Not to mention the eye rolls and scoffing when I had to go to a bigger size .Fast forward picked up the ring both sales associates were on the phone and answering PERSONAL phone calls making me wait , while being unorganized with the process of giving my ring back . Fast forward it hasn’t even been a few months since they sized it the band completely snapped where they welded it . I was doing nothing but holding my steering wheel and it completely split in half. Read moreThis company has given me more problems than help. My engagement ring was bought 2 years ago and the metal that holds the diamonds in broke and I lost all of my diamonds. I went up there and found out my warranty was expired because I didn't have it cleaned on time (my fault I know) but told me that if I bout the insurance again that they would replace the ring for free. I agreed and was told that it would be in in 3 days. Never heard from them so I went up there a few weeks later and was told it wasn't in yet. No other information. I called today, another 3 weeks later and the store manager (South Park Mall) gets an attitude because I told her my situation before I told her my name. She kept an attitude the whole conversation to the point I have decided I will never shop at Zales again for any reason. I'm disappointed that I won't have the same ring but happy I won't have to deal with this company. Before all of this we received a bill in the mail and opened it to find out the payment was due days before and we we're charged with a late fee. When we called customer service they pretty much called us liars and refused to reverse the charges....
