READ THIS REVIEW!! So many of us only stop and read the bad reviews, trust me I am guilty of it too, BUT I have found a serious gem here and I want others to know about it!! Reading this review will actually benefit YOU, so don’t just keep scrolling, okay?
I have been selling my gently used clothes for many years. I have a love of fashion, a taste that changes frequently, and am usually balling on a budget, so I am a frequent buyer and seller to shops like this one. This means that I have quite a bit of experience when it comes to selling my clothes for cash and I have done it EVERYWHERE. At many different franchises, in many different towns and even different states.
When I tell you this store ranks as #1 out of EVERY other store like it, I don’t mean that it beat out the others by a small margin, or that another came in close second. I mean that it beat them by a land slide. And let me tell you why.
First off the store is easy to find, well labeled and on a busy corner. Huge plus in my book. I am always in a hurry and and frequently selling in an area I am not familiar with. It was clean, well organized and very well stocked with popular brands and quality items (which can also be dangerous because it made me want to buy EVERYTHING). The store had an upbeat atmosphere, which made it fun to shop, lots of fitting rooms and a bathroom! Some of you might wonder why these last two are worthy of mention (while you die hard shoppers will get it). It really comes down to convince. When I am shopping and have to use the restroom and the store I am in doesn’t have a bathroom, I will typically stop shopping at that store and leave. It’s such a pain to have the employees hold your items, leave the store, use the restroom (wherever that might be) and then come back. So I don’t come back. It might seem like a small thing but I have come across many stores that buy clothes for cash that don’t have restrooms and I have to literally walk across the street just to pee. We live in a world of convenience, which brings me to that second point.. lots of fitting rooms. Nothing is more irritating that waiting in a long line just to try on one blouse because some genius only thought to put in two fitting rooms in a WOMANS clothing store madness!
Now to the real reason this place is #1 in my book. THE STAFF! They are incredibly knowledgeable of brands, they worth and sell-ability. They are friendly, competent and honest. That’s HUGE in my book. They paid me the BEST by far for my name brand and designer items and even offered me more for a pricy item when I was hesitant to sell it for they price the computer offered me!! And is the reason that, while I live almost two hours away and have about a dozen other options in my own area of where I can sell my gently used clothes, I will be driving to them!!

Read moreThe clothes they have for sale are absolutely wonderful! They have quirky items that you would want to see in a second hand store. However, they are a bit over priced, as some of the items I saw there, although all name brand and high end, were available at TJmax or Burlington, and could be bought brand new for the same, if not cheaper. They had a great collection of shoes and boots, but all the ones worth having were at least $60. I wouldn't pay $50 for second hand shoes of any kind unless the were something I absolutely couldn't live without! I would say, from what I saw of pricing vs product...the store is trying to be a second hand for the high to upper-mid class, with money to blow. Unfortunately, I think when it comes to clothing, those women tend to buy it new. So, they are really missing out on a lot of good business. Everyone knows you make more money selling volume than you would selling a few over priced items. Plus, you are able to purchase more, and keep a fresh inventory. I've been in there 3 times in 4 months and saw several of the same items each time. The store is a jewel for finding that one perfect vintage look you've been hunting for, and it is clean and well kept. The girls that worked there have either been trained or corrupted into passing judgement and switching their demeanor between customers. I sat back and observed for more than an hour as different customers walked in and were either dismissed or greeted with an abundance of smiles, depending on that judgement. The first time I went, I wanted to take a good look through everything and was in no hurry. I own a home renovation and design company and came straight from work; dirty work boots and all...However, I am a bit of a shopaholic and LOVE finding unique vintage items..and make no mistake,will pay for them. I intended on purchasing a wonderful pair of boots I found hiding in the corner, Unfortunately, while carrying them around the store in search of other treasures, I got the impression the girls were concerned I was going to try slipping out with them! Stealing boots from a second hand store?? I'm sure it's been done but, they missed the mark with me! Feeling a bit insecure and offended..I left empty handed.I returned about a week later, looking much better than my post-workday slum look, and low and behold ... Was greeted with a warm welcome. Probably won't go back but, I always try to leave an honest review for those who would find it helpful. Like I said... beautiful mix of clothing..not so great pricing...
Read moreThey replied fast when I asked questions about the item on instagram chat. And they sent PayPal invoice right away! But after you paid, they stop replying fast. They told me that they will ship out my item next day morning. And I will receive my tracking number too. But I did not receive any tracking information according to what I heard. So I called to the store and the assistant manager Jennifer (hope I don’t remember her name wrong) talked to me and said that as a business , they do not know the tracking number. And only usps has the tracking number. It is completely out of her hands at that point. Well, they should know that all the small boutiques nowadays uses PayPal for business too! They update the tracking info for customers to track their own packages! When they make the shipping label, they should be able to see the tracking number. And assistant manager told me that they sell $7000+ items every day, so that I do not need to worry about my item. Um… that’s nice! I am happy that they have good customers who shop there regularly. But I hope assistant manager can understand that I was calling to find out more info about my item. I think I am not wrong to call to check on my $3000+ item when the staff told me that I would receive my tracking info next day. They charge $80 for shipping! So I guess I am not allowed to call to ask about my paid tracking!?!?:) I think they are doing well on using instagram to sell items ! But if they cannot do well with PayPal invoices/ tracking updates, do the business locally then! That’s the best way for them! Then they won’t upset customers this way! I am not sure if I will shop here anymore because of this poor customer service. Very disappointed.
