On January 3, 2025, I went to the men’s department to exchange a Polo Ralph Lauren sweater. I had my receipt for the sweater. A salesperson of Indian descent, named Prakash Patel, assisted me in finding the correct size for the exchange. He asked if the sweater had a tag on it, to which I replied no, but I had my receipt. He then stated that I couldn’t return the sweater. I asked him to give me the sweater so I could speak to a manager about the store’s return policy. However, he flat-out refused to give me the sweater and claimed that store policy required Polo items to remain in the Polo section of the store and that they could not be taken elsewhere.Frustrated, I went to the Customer Service counter and requested to speak with the Store Manager. Brittany Watkins arrived shortly after. Before she arrived, I went back to Mr. Patel to ask for the sweater again. He said he had folded it up and placed it back on the table, but then he began helping me look for it. It didn’t take long for me to realize that the sweater was gone. Manager Brittany Watkins then searched for the sweater. When she returned to the Customer Service area, she informed me that Mr. Patel had taken the sweater and hidden it in a cabinet under the register. Needless to say, I was livid at being treated this way. Mr. Patel has no business working at Dillard’s in any department and should be terminated immediately. Please understand that everyone associated with Dillard’s and Ralph Lauren will be made aware of this incident. My question is: How many times has he done this in the past? How many articles of clothing—specifically Polo Ralph Lauren or other items—has he refused to sell to customers and then hidden in the store? Ralph Lauren should pull all its merchandise from Dillard’s, or at the very least, from this particular location, permanently. His behavior was unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. I will be cutting up my Dillard’s card...
Read moreToday, a Thursday night when Dillard's was not crowded like weekend. I came to this Dillard's location for the intention of opening a new Dillard's credit card. The reason was because when I came to Dillard's Perimeter Mall on last Sunday, the Retail Sales Counters here were very nice to meet. They told me that if I buy any Estee Lauder's pruduct with $35 I can get a free gift with purchase - it values $150, beside that if I buy more with $75, I can get one more value gift. In addition, if I apply for a Dillard's credit cart, I can get 10%. " At that time, I had to take some time to think of because recently I applied for many credit cards, I was just afraid of hurting my credit score if I keep applying more. But afterward, I made decision to come back Dillard to apply for a credit card. As I purchased a gift box $25 with $15 gift card in side the box for a next purchase in Dillard's as the attached picture. So today, when I asked sales counter for giving me an advise on this, they did not give me any advises but just pushing me to do everything very quick, they told me use my $15 gift card with the purchase Estee Lauder at least $100 to get 10% after that. Finally, I purchased over $100 and used my $15 without any gift with purchase and any promotion. I felt very bad, so I made a return this product right after that and I lose $15 gift card as well because that gift card is unable returned. I also lose 10% promotion further. Well, kind of such a ridiculous like me, a big experience for life. Not everyone is nice enough to let you know what is good. Definitely, they just want to reach the target. I treasure Dillard's sale counters in Perimeter Mall, but Dillard's in Mall of Georgia, I will never back again. We reap...
Read moreI’m a mom, and love Dillard’s! I was going in to return something today— I perused the online site.l I’m Amazing prices on some bags - I went to the store, looked around, they did my smaller refund for two Kate spade products & then, I went to pay for the remaining $600 I spent, and my bank only cover 2/3rds; I couldn’t transfer as my phone was broken the day prior and replacement was arriving at 7pm— I truly was given nasty looks! I asked if she had a phone, like a store phone I could use so I Conan call or something - she goes “you can’t use your own phones” I e for a charger…. Wouldn’t even let me use a store phone so I had to leave the store go to the atm, and come back and wait in hold on my sis cell for 49+ minutes for a customer service rep to answer. Whilst I was on hold, I picked some a bag for my girl, that was $35 cheaper online - the woman(manager) said “it’s against policy; we don’t match online.” What? They were whispering, and she (cashier) said that the employee who had done my return and applied I to my purchase thought I wouldn’t even return. Huh? So, in Leu of the trashy customer service, and pretentious attitudes; I’m returning every single item I purchased $1,200+, abs my husband is cutting yo his card with synchrony who handles the Dillard’s Card- a higher end store and emolument there makes you no better than anyone else, and I’ll spend my money where it’s valued, recognized as hard earned and where I’m appreciate and treated with respect. If I decide to get something in the future, it’ll be online. Mall of Georgia Dillard’s, now I know why your store stays empty -!who wants to spend their money there and be treated with such disgusting behaviors by management, and sales workers? No One....
