I've been a lot of places and had a lot of different experiences, and by far the is was the worst I have ever had. We got to the restaurant late as we had been out all day (around 10:30). Tired and hungry we came in and asked for a booth. This was probably the only bright spot of the night. The hostess was on top of her game and very gracious. When we arrived we realized that there was an MMA fight in so there would probably be some delay as it was busy. Our hostess went over to our waitress (which was starting to clean the booth that we asked to be sat in) and asked her to clean it up as soon as possible as there was a couple waiting to be sat. With that the hostess came back to sit other people that were coming in, our waitress or soon to be waitress conveniently walked away, without finishing the table. She disappeared, in fact, she was gone for such a long period of time the hostess had to go looking for her. Once our waitress came back it took her another 10 minutes to clean the table. Her comment to us, was that she was a really good cleaning. After 20 minutes of waiting we were finally sat. We placed an order of buffalo dip, and asked her to come back to order drinks, as we have not figured out what we wanted. After another 20 minute wait, our waitress came back and took our order. We asked for margaritas, but we wanted to see how much it would be to switch the type of tequila in the strawberry margarita. We were told that we would have to pay full price for the margarita and then buy separately a shot of Patron if that's what we wanted. So basically we were paying for margarita mix at full price of a drink with tequila in it and then paying for a shot of Patron. We decided to go with a margarita the way it was, as it didn't make any sense to pay basically for two drinks for one. The margaritas were a disaster. The frozen margarita was more like a snow cone. When my husband was done drinking the drink there was literally shaved ice left in the cup. Onto the debacle of the food. The Buffalo chicken dip did come out in a timely manner. It was cold. Our wings that we ordered, which is hooters specialty, we're under done even though we asked for them to be well done. They also had no sauce on them. Once the waitress came to the table, we asked her to please take the wings back as they were under done and not sauced. She disappeared into the kitchen and came right back with the same wings. They looked as if they had just toss them in sauce and did nothing about the fact that they were under done. At this point we were so annoyed that we attempted to eat them. After eating about a quarter of them, we were officially done. We asked our waitress for the check and a box to go as it was very late and we were still starving. We literally had to take them home and cook them again in our house to be able to eat them. At no point during the time that we were in the restaurant did we find a manager. We did, however seen many employees that were off eating at the restaurant. The only reason we understood that they were off was because the rest of the staffkept coming over and sitting down with them. Now, if there was a manager on stuff what do you think they'd stop this behavior from happening? Nope no manager we never saw one someone... We did get to see him and off-duty waitress eating nerds and then other waitresses coming and taking those nerds from her and eating them as well. One waitress apparently got upset with the person that had the nerds and started during those nerds at her in the middle of the restaurant. Bottom line this was a horrific experience. The wings that I so desperately wanted were terrible even after he went home and tried to fix them. I really wish this wasn't our experience as I happen to really like Hooters wings. I will never be going back to this restaurant and neither will my husband. Period. The restaurant is beautiful, but the rest was horrific. Maybe they should promote their hostess, so she can teach the rest of the staff how to behave and provide good...
Read moreFirst time at this location, most likely will not be back during the evening shift. Came here a little after 11 PM after watching Endgame. Since we’ve been sitting for roughly 3 hours, we wanted to stretch our legs a little bit longer. I noticed several servers were standing around chatting with each other when we pulled and did not disperse until we walked through the doors a while later. The establishment was not crowded nor as loud so there’s no way the servers did not see us. After standing and waiting for a while, a different server came in from the patio section and told us to give her a second and she’ll seat us. We were finally seated by a different server and our drink orders placed. It took a little longer than necessary for the drinks to arrive. When it was time to order, we had to wait because we couldn’t find our server and the other servers stayed on the opposite site of the bar. Finally ordered food, waited a while for the appetizer to arrive, and when it did, it was disappointing. I’ve been wanting fried pickles for a very long time and was looking forward to it. The pickles were very large and very thin, it was heavily breaded and over cooked. The food was mediocre. We had to constantly look for our server to get the check. Not sure who put in the orders for the ticket, but the server should always check over everything to ensure everything is correct. We were charged full price for the appetizer (half off after 10 pm. We came in around 11 ish and the ticket said after 11 as well) so I had to look for the server to have her correct it, which she did (thank you). My partner handed her a large bill and the check and she had the audacity to ask if we need change. First of all, you are not about to get a $40+ tip when our bill was under $50. Second of all, you were difficult to find throughout the duration of our stay.
TLDR: very displeased at poor customer service from the wait staff, and the heavily breaded and over cooked fried pickles we ordered. Most likely won’t come back during late...
Read moreOn 1/1/2020 we had dinner at Hooters. I got the western style cheeseburger with bacon and barbecue sauce with a side of onion rings and it was all very good.
However, and very much to our disappointment, you would think Hooters would have mastered the hot wing, but what my wife got was very bland. I’ve had much better hot wings at many other places and I did not care for those. The sauce just didn’t do it for us.
Also what was surprising, is the hot wings do not automatically come with celery and blue cheese. I’ve never heard of such a thing. You had to order that separately and pay an extra charge for that side. That’s like being served a hamburger without a bun! Every place I’ve ever gone to always always includes the celery and blue cheese with the wings. I don’t know what that little money making racket is about. I’ve never heard of such a thing. But I don’t blame that place we ate at, I blame the Hooters Corporation for that idea. What’s next, charging for the ice cubes to go into a drink?
Also, what was REALLY getting on our nerves was the choice of music they played and the blaring volume, close to it being distorted. It was not at all conducive with any dining experience I would have liked. No, I wasn’t looking for elevator music but the 90s rock ‘n’ roll they were playing and the choices of the songs they played was on the nerve-racking side and distracting and made us want to get out of there as soon as possible.
However, the service was very polite and professional and was very good so no complaints there. I would have rated this place higher but had it not been for the annoying distracting music and the volume it was played at. And because of that, we won’t be...
