Ive been shopping at riverpark Heb for years never had any issues. Sad to say I had the worst experience here when I went there to buy a cake from bakery. I was just waiting to get helped infront of the cakes, the partner asked if I needed help anything I told her I would like one of these chocolate cakes as Iām pointing she goes on to ask which one (keep in mind there is a small chocolate cake and a big chocolates cake) I pointed and asked for the small chocolate cake, and she went on to say WHICH ONE! with a complete attitude (in my head I was okay I will let that slide) and I continued to say not the cookies and cream cake the small chocolate cake and I was still pointing. She slapped her hand on the counter and she said I šcanāt šseeš from šhere. I was shocked yes I did tell her off because Iām noting going to deal with people having an attitude to me for no reason when I was being polite. As she was getting my cake in the box she is humming/singing. Complete psycho .
I asked a girl working in grocery if I can speak to a store manager. I believe she was a grocery manager she was super nice and professional. I didnāt get her name.
So I waited in the front for the one the managers, her name ā Raquelā I waited 15 minutes, she came out of restaurant and I told her I needed to speak to her and she said āI know I was in the restroomā I explained to her what happened and she told me āwell I don t know what kind of vibes you were giving off or what vibes she was giving offā from there I knew I was not getting anywhere talking to this manager. She told me this isnāt a her first complaint that she will talk to her. The fact this isnāt the first time and they are just going to ātalk to herā she is going to continue being rude to costumers because nothing is getting done. I might as well go to Walmart if Iām going to get treated like complete trash. I ended up leaving and going to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEarlier this week I stopped in with my 2 year old little girl to grab her some Pedialyte for her upset stomach. After checking out I pushed our cart over to the truck and loaded up. We drove home about 15 minutes away and while unloading, I realized we had left something very important behind. Since she was two weeks old, our daughter has had her little stuffed bunny by her side and I left her in the cart when we loaded up. She started realizing that bunny wasn't there and it broke her heart (and mine). We raced back to the store to go look for bunny. I looked in the cart returns and all the carts around where we parked and could not find her anywhere. My heart was melting for her because I know how upset she was getting without her lifelong companion and felt like the worst dad ever. While I was wandering around the store glancing into every cart I saw, a gentleman named Alex, who appeared to be a manager of some sort, asked me what I was looking for. I explained the situation and the dire emergency it would be if we couldn't find her. Alex told me not to worry, and that bunny would turn up. We walked out in the lot and looked in some of the same places I looked. His next move was to grab one of the cart pushers and have him scan to find the bunny. About 5 minutes later (which of course felt like and eternity) the cart pusher, I think his name was Caleb, came walking up with bunny.
I know it sounds small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but my little girl is so happy to have bunny back. It would have been so easy for the staff to shrug their shoulders and say "I haven't seen the bunny" and just left it at that. These two men showed total compassion for the situation and made it a happy ending. We shop at this store from time to time, but it may well become our go-to grocery store.
Thanks again guys, you really have no idea how you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRecently had my prescription transferred to this HEB from Kroger and it was extremely easy. HEB essentially did all of the work for me. I came in one day with my prescription bottle and asked if I could start coming to them in the future for my refills. The pharmacist was extremely kind and helpful and told me she would be glad to take care of it for me. It could not have been an easier, more pleasant experience. And this is for a controlled substance (anxiety medication) that countless other pharmacies have simply told me no, they will not fill my prescription for me, even though I'm in my 30's and have been on said medication for close to 5 years. The Kroger (spring green Blvd. in Katy) that previously filled it for me was the only Kroger around that would fill it, not even the Rosenberg location would but it just became too much of a hassle to drive 40min each way to pick up my medication. So no knock against that specific Kroger location. Now I only have to drive 5 minutes to HEB. Thanks guys, you've made my life just a little bit easier, which helps a lot these days. I always only shopped at HEB for my groceries anyway, now I can truly say that y'all are the...
