Riverpark Shopping Center I & Ii — Local services in Sugar Land

We went to the HEB here at SW Frwy @ Grand Pkwy for some miscellaneous shopping...we were out this way to give someone a lift. We were at our Home base HEB (San Felipe @ Fountainview) last night. We wanted to buy a whole Rib Eye Roast last night and asked the Butcher to slice it for us..... he said no problem but the machine was under cleaning and closed down for the night (we could see them cleaning/spraying it). That being said...again....since we're out by this Sw Frwy HEB we decided to get the meat there. Infact they had the same deal and we asked the meat/fish assistance guys to have the butcher cut it into steaks for us. They responded that the Butcher was on break. So I asked if we could leave the meat there upon his return. No problem. But in fact the butcher was in the meat area stocking cases. Ok, so we did more shopping finding tamales in the case were MOLDED. Upon returning to the meat/fish department there was not a soul in site for some time...no-one to be seen. Upon a (1) assistant returning (by now there's a line of people)....I finally get my turn, request my meat order, the assistant leaves again (seeking out for the butcher, no-one behind the counter again). Finally they both come back and the butcher tells me he can't cut the roast and that it would be extra charge $)....now, our Home HEB ☝🏽... HAS NEVER CHARGED US to cut meat of any kind. I believe the butcher was lazy and rude...he dodged us from beginning. This HEB ON SW FRWY @ Grand Pkwy needs a management that can keep their employees up to par and perhaps able to assist customers with better service. I will never return to that particular...

A lot of good places here. I've been to the Baskin Robbins, HEB, Gander Mountain, and many of the food places here with no bad experiences. My favorite food spot is mod pizza, you have a personal pan pizza made in a Chipotle-like way, then it's cooked in a wood fired oven. Gander Mountain is a sports-like shop with rifles and fishing and the like - and they're closing down soon so get stuff...

It’s a very busy shopping center but I appreciate all there it has to offer. HEB is a great grocery store, but there’s a Starbucks, Chipotle, Jersey Mikes, Chic Fil A, Whataburger, and a couple of pharmacies. Lots to list, but it’s conveniently located off Hwy 59 and Grand Pkwy. It’s a great shopping center. Safe and clean. Plus even the excessive traffic is...
