Pizza is great! I just hate finishing the whole thing because I have no self control... but thats not why I gave my experiance today 3 stars. Im giving it three stars because though it is very tasty food (its a chain so it has standards to meet) im giving it three stars because of the staff. They dont seem happy at all to be there. At least not the ones that helped me and my girlfriend. My girlfriend has a gluten allergy, and we go here when she is craving pizza (because they have GF crust). So she asked the girl behind the line to please change her gloves (to prevent cross contamination), and she did, with little to no hesitation, but only after she already touched the gluten free dough with her old glove. But we both just felt at that point, attitudes toward us were immediately negative from the rest of the staff. After we sat down waiting for our pizza, I told my girlfriend that I feel like they dont understand why you asked for the girl to change her gloves and it may have felt like you were demanding her because you could.....
Anyway! To end this long story, the staff should be trained with gluten free items if they going to sell them, so customers with allergies can still eat there with little to no worrie of cross contamination.
Ps. It would be nice if they asked if the reason for asking for GF pizza is allergy related, I feel like it would assure the customer that the staff have been trained and will take...
Read moreDon't plan on eating inside. The workers are keeping it freezing in there so they are comfortable. My wife, 2 kids and I were all freezing on their metal chairs so much that my wife had to get blankets out of the car. Before that I asked if they realized how cold it was as I was getting the pizza and the response was "well it feels nice for us by the fire", with little to no care about me stating it was freezing for the customers. After we ate for a few minutes and my wife got the blankets it was still unbearable. My wife again found the same girl who may have been the manager and asked her what the thermostat was at. She came back and stated it was at 69 (My bet it must also be by the fire) and then she said what would you like it at as we keep it cool as it is unsafe to be by the fire with it too warm. I told them too late we are leaving and it would take way too long to warm up. The windows have heavy condensation all over them. Trust me there is no way it was over 60 in there where customers sit. The owner should really go sit down on a surprise visit and sit in one of their metal chairs for 20 minutes. maybe then they could afford to bring back the extra ingredients I loved like fresh mozzarella amd kalamata olives with the cost savings of fixing the ventilation for the workers vs the customers. I guarentee you are losing business from when you guys first opened and probably don't even know why, tip,...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE Mod Pizza. For the most part I have received really great service here. I would have given them 5 stars had I not had an accident at this location this past weekend. Went to refill my drink and a piece of the fountain soda machine was not accurately placed back on and so it ended up falling on my leg and foot. Ouch! When I reported it to the young lady at the register she seemed absolutely disinterested and annoyed at thw fact that I had brought the incident to her attention. She made no attempts to ask if I was ok. Fortunately when the incident occured a gentleman was nearby and he assisted by picking up the piece that had fallen on me. He also offered to standby and hold the piece that had fallen in place so that I could refill my cup (I declined, I was too scared to try and use the drink dispenser again). He also went and got a manager, I assumed he worked there and was off duty. Either way I appreciated his concern. The manager did come out and apologize, as well as the employee, who had issues securing that piece in place when she was attempting to fix the...
