How is this location rated so high? Lol somethingâs off. They must be writing fake reviews on their own behalf. Just visit and see the real thing(actually donât, itâs bad). My wife and I dined in twice a few years ago and told ourselves never again. Service was horrible each time. But weâve just had a newborn baby and are getting our kitchen remodeled and couldnât cook so I said letâs get first watch. Now our go to spot is the one on Hwy 90, they are spectacular(if youâre reading this go there, see the difference)But she didnât want me to be gone for too long so I decided to save some time and visit this location which is closer to us, and now I vow to never set foot inside it again. The service was horrendous. Not a smile in sight from a single employee the entire half hour I was here getting a take out order. It was like everyone hates working here. The hostess who took my order made it feel like I was inconveniencing her by ordering food lol. It was very strange. Then she handed me my food after 20 mins of waiting with my 3 and 5 y/o kids and it was someone elseâs order. I gave it back. 10 mins later our real order came, but they didnât give us any silverware. Now I donât do a lot of reviews but Iâm doing this to help others avoid a similar experience and to hopefully elucidate to management(whoâs likely to blame for the atmosphere because all businesses are top down) that thereâs serious room for improvement.    Read moreHorrible Customer Service! Sat at table for 10 minutes and no one waited on us. My husband asked for our Server and Taylor the server appeared. We placed both drink and food order and waited for another 15 minutes and still did not receive our drinks. I saw Taylor walking around in the kitchen doing nothing and she never brought our drinks. We had enough and decided to leave. Spoke with the Asst. Mgr. America who did not initially apologize for the bad service. I told America that we waited for 10 minutes and no Server acknowledged us even though the restaurant was nearly empty. America merely stated that she would coach Taylor better. She also stated that she saw us leaving and yet did nothing. I asked America if she saw us when we were leaving, then why did she not offer to assist? America stated a bunch of irrelevant excuses, âI was preparing a to-go order and Iâm pregnant.â Wait, What?! When I realized the staff is just as incompetent as the Asst. Mgr. America, I asked for the General Manager. Hopefully he has better sense than his staff he leaves in charge during his absence. We left, went to âBlack Bear Dinerâ and was immediately waited on. Here's the short version: I ordered scrambled, cracked egg whites. Easy. I was told "The chef said he can't do cracked egg whites. We can only do egg whites out of a carton." Bear in mind, I've gotten cracked egg whites plenty of times at THIS First Watch before. The waitress tells me that they can do regular cracked eggs, just not cracked egg whites. If you're reading this review, you know how ridiculous that sounds. Just crack the same egg that you'd use for regular scrambled eggs, toss out the yolk and there you have it. Egg whites. Anyway, I cancelled my order and left. I understand if you are out of eggs back there but if you have eggs and say that you can't do cracked egg whites, the problem is not the egg, it's the chef (or management) and you just don't want the business.
