Gabe's — Local services in Summit Township

This is sincerely THE BEST retail store I have ever shopped at. I manage to load the cart every time and this visit was not an exception. Don't bother going to the GW across the street because this store has it all for way less money and its all brand new. I am not sure if I am just hitting it at the right times but I always end up finding tons of stuff here. I also shop at the Gabe's stores in Western NY as I am from there but they absolutely DO NOT pale in comparison to this one. This one just gets a way better selection of merchandise than all of them. If you love clothing and you don't mind the 2 hour drive from WNY this store is totally worth it. This is an absolutely gigantic store and you should probably plan to spend a couple hours here hunting for stuff. In fact, I think this is the biggest retail store I have ever seen in my life. For the guys there is a Men's department that takes up a good part of the store and again its definitely the largest Men's department I have seen in my life. This store is clean and neat and does not look run down. The prices are cheaper than thrift stores and cheaper than Walmart. For example I paid $29.99 for brand name women's boots and $7.99 for women's leggings and jeans, brand name stuff that is new. TJ Maxx and Marshalls have the same types of goods but if you like those stores you will pay 30-50% less for them here. For example Tahari jeans for $7.99 - $9.99 here instead of $14.99-24.99 at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. This is just a couple examples but there are definitely more bargains...

Gabe's used to be so much more back in the day, from what I can remember. We recently took a school clothes shopping trip to Erie and stopped at Gabe's and Plato's closet since they're right next to each other now. Gabe's was a huge heaping pile of clothes on racks as soon as you enter, very over stimulating for some of us. They advertised school supplies on the front of their building but I couldn't find any such section, they also used to have more household items and now they also have make-up accessories that mostly seem to be empty boxes that people have stolen the goods out of. Overall we did find a few things but we were there for a at least an hour an a half trying everything on. The dressing rooms were clean and tidy, no one was really using them and they did have a male and a female side, which for families may not work the best, as for my son he wants me there with him just not in the changing room with him so yeah, we made it work since no...

I love this store! Definitely have to take your time to look through what this store offers. I've found some pretty great things here. I love all the seasonal decor. The only thing is, there seems to be way less brand items there now than ever before. If you wanted a designer purse, shirt, shoes, or even decent shampoo.. this was the place to go! Sadly, the inventory is very different than it used to be. But I still very much enjoy this place! When you're shopping on a budget, stores like this are a great place to start!
