Definitely not a place I will at stay again. First of all, I think that hotels should have to make potential customers aware that they are in the process of remodeling during the booking process. This was the case during my weekend stay. There were boxes of materials stacked everywhere and elevators had blankets hanging from the walls. My room had newer furnishings and looked okay at first glance but it but it didn't take long to see the issues. The bed was so close to the wall that you could barely get through. Everytime i got out of bed i smashed my foot into the AC/heater unit. This makes even less sense because there was a significant amount of unused space, like a sofa or something was missing. There was a single padded chair but no side table or anything to set a drink on. Also absent was the little folding luggage stand. The only place to set your luggage was on the desk or chair, so much for sitting in it. The emergency exit instructions were on the floor in the closet and the was no extra blanket in the closet like you would expect. There were piles of drywall dust on the picture frames. Nozzles of the shower head were clogged shut with paint. The towels were so rough it was hard to use them. My wife and i stayed two nights and had to have our room keys reprogrammed TWICE! We went down for breakfast the first morning but ended up throwing our food in the trash and going to Sheetz instead. There were dual USB wall charging outlets at each side of the bed, which was a positive, along with coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator. I didn't use either the coffee maker or microwave so i can only assume they worked. Other than being conveniently located this hotel has nothing else to offer. I recommend you...
Read moreThe facilities were nice and clean overall and the beds mostly comfortable, but we had a number of problems.
We had a group of six: two adults and four kids. The website said that there were roll-aways if needed, and with two queen beds for a family of six we needed it. But, we were told that they don't actually have any. So we had two kids spend the night laying on chairs.
After a long day we were looking forward to the big pool as seen in the pictures on the website, and a nice hot hottub. The pool was smaller than it looked from the perspective pictures on the website, the hottub temp was just above lukewarm (one of the other guests said that it normally isn't that cold), and there were no towels to be seen.
The hot breakfast was as expected with waffles, cereal, muffins, eggs, yogurt, etc. So, nothing amazing. I was personally VERY disappointed with the tea selection. There was a selection of Herbal (non-tea) teas and as plain & generic black as you can get with nothing in between. There were no greens, whites, or reds let alone any flavor selection within them, and as someone who can't stand coffee this was a pretty big disappointment.
Beyond these problems, the experience was as expected for a standard hotel. So, after considering our overall experience, we decided that this family will be looking elsewhere for lodging the next time we...
Read moreThe hotel is nice and clean. The beds are comfy with good pillows. The bathrooms are clean with Dove soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The lady working the counter this afternoon/evening was so rude tho. I thought I had seen some milk in their little store and I wanted cereal that I carry with me for supper so I went down to BUY some milk, and I got confused and went to the breakfast place first and then went over to the store and she saw that and thought I was trying to get the milk from the breakfast fridge that is locked - now I never tried to open it or even touched this fridge I just walked by it- and said oh I am in the wrong spot...and then went over to the desk and looked and the little store where they have iced coffee, juice, and every other drink you could want....all I said, TO MYSELF, was "Aw man no milk" She VERY rudely said "No we don't have any milk...the milk is ONLY. FOR. BREAKFAST!" And I know I am a really young looking 42 but she straight talked to me like a child. And there were some kids there wanting to use the pool and they weren't guests so I guess her shackles were raised from dealing with them but that's so not my fault.
Also edit to add the breakfast the next morning last a little lacking. They did have cereal and milk! Ha! Lol but no eggs or waffles or anything that my...
