Made a trip to Raleigh to visit my grandkids and celebrate The youngest (6). For his birthday, he chose Texas roadhouse. Now we love this restaurant. I’ve always gotten great meals, but not on this particular occasion. For one, not sure if they changed their rolls, but they were super dense and thick. I had told the hostess on the side that we had a birthday if they could sing to him, they said no problem. We placed our order which we got three sirloin dinners, a burger meal and a kids mac & cheese. It took forever to get our food. Our waitress advised it was at least a 25 minute wait coming out of the kitchen. We get our food and basically everything is lukewarm. The burger and mac and cheese meal LITERALLY had 6 fries each on their plate. We sent back two of the steaks, which they ended up making mew ones. So now three of us are eating and two are watching. We complete our meals still don’t have the other two steaks and she asked if we want to have them boxed up to go. I advised no they’re actually kind of hungry and would like their food. They never sang to my grandson. The manager came over and I explained what was going on and she apologized saying they got a new kitchen system and they haven’t quite got it yet. Honestly, I don’t think that was my problem but OK so she advised she would adjust the bill. She gave us 10% off. Didn’t even cover one of the meals. Not saying we won’t ever go back to Texas roadhouse but sadly ruined my grandsons birthday dinner and evening.

We came in and the experience at the front was typical to Texas Roadhouse. Silverware had food all over it so we had to get that exchanged out...not a good start. We sat in Chris' section and she spent more time announcing people's birthdays than making sure we were taken care of....Our drinks are watered down (not sure if picture shows it because lighting is dim), no check on refills. Got our appetizer (snake bites) brought out by the kitchen staff. We literally sat here for over 30 minutes and had to call for her and asked to speak to manager. Her statement, we have no idea where your food is. Now, please understand, we ordered the portabella mushroom chicken to SPLIT. our snakebites are cold, drinks watered down and she walked away. The "manager" came over, never said, I am sorry. He said, let me see what is going on and left...that was 8:21pm...it is now 8:32 and no statement from manager....totally unacceptable! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Dillon...aka...manager...finally came back at 8:33 but no one has even offered to refresh drinks and our waitress disappeared. We ate because we were starving....but this was worst service ever from a texas roadhouse!! Had Joe get us a drink refill...GET HIS SECTION, HE TOOK CARE OF HIS PEOPLE AT LEAST. Horrible for any waitress to let their table sit so long with no food....she should have went to kitchen or manager and said, my people need their chicken!!!

This place is extremely popular and always crowded. They do have call ahead seating and will put you on their mobile phone wait list which is quite helpful. Still waiting an hour+ to be seated can be disappointing. All service staff are quite friendly and helpful and knowledgeable on the menu. We never felt rushed and they were glad to answer all of our questions. Because they are a popular it is always crowded and loud inside making it difficult to enjoy a meal but not impossible. The steaks are great and seem to be better than Longhorn. Be careful when you order the side of green beans as it has a vinegary sauce that may be a surprise or a welcome addition depending on your palate. The only let down which other people may enjoy, were the sweet dinner rolls that preceded the meal. The rolls seem to be baked with sugar and the only side given is a sweet cinnamon butter. These taste more like a dessert than an appetizer. Again, these may be great for kids, but not to our liking.

My husband and I LOVE to eat here! But we will NOT be back after our most recent visit this evening. It was our 1 year wedding anniversary so we wanted to go to our favorite place to eat! All we want is to enjoy Texas Roadhouse, but apparently thats too much to ask for. Literally EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. we go, there is an issue! Or should I say MANY issues! First things first, there is a MAJOR issue here with their silverware.. for some reason, its NEVER CLEAN! It usually takes about 2-3 sets before finally getting a TRULY CLEAN set! They always have crusty food and grease caked on them. Tonight was the same deal, and there was also what looked like parts of peanut shells inside my rolled napkin. When we asked for a new set, we still didnt get one. My husband and I had to SHARE his silverware!! Next, for some reason it takes a rocket scientist to put a food order together.. because MY food NEVER, EVER comes out as I order it. I literally order the same exact thing every single time I come here. Its never my husbands food thats wrong, always MINE for some reason. And its not like I special order it, Just how it is on the menu. I order smothered chicken with brown gravy.. they'll bring it out with no gravy.. or with jack cheese on it instead. Tonight, the order was right.. BUT.. there was CORN on my plate, when there is no corn in what I order. And they also forgot my side of ranch. I had to ask for that TWICE before actually getting it. When I brought all this to their attention, I was told, its "because the corn is next to the other food, thats why" okay.. well thats never happened before for one, Plus.. thats cross contamination for two. I didnt order corn, thank you. What if someone is allergic to something like that.. and you're just acting like its NO BIG DEAL AT ALL.. "No ones allergic to corn..", the manager SNAPPED.. like.. really?! Next, the guy that brought our food out said he would be back with fresh rolls and never came back.. we were literally DONE with our meal and talking to the manager by the time we got another basket, ONLY because we complained about it. Once we were talking to the manager, whom we've spoken with before since we've had many problems here before, she was EXTREMELY RUDE and had a NASTY attitude with us about everything. Like, first off.. maybe fix the issues in this place and with youre employees first BEFORE you start taking this out on your customers. Because we shouldnt have to complain EVERY SINGLE TIME we come in! We shouldnt be having issues EVERY SINGLE TIME we come in! She sure made it a point to mention that as well, that she sees us in there all the time complaining.. well.. that should be telling you something then, shouldnt it?! Im SURE were not the only ones having these issues! All this made us NOT WANT TO COME BACK!!! This made us HATE Texas Roadhouse!!! If this is the experience we get EVERY time we go, if this is how we're treated, then we'll just start going elsewhere! They ruined my birthday dinner last year, my birthday dinner this year, now my anniversary dinner... I didnt even get to eat. My husbnd left nice and full while I left stomach nearly empty, in tears, and angry!! He was upset because I was so upset.. this ruined our WHOLE NIGHT!!!!! THANKS TEXAS ROADHOUSE, Not like I was hungry and wanting some good food and a good day on my anniversary...

My experience didnt start out great, to be completely honest. I wasnt feeling too well today and so I couldn't join my dad and husband for my dad's birthday celebration, so my husband ordered my meal for takeout. I ordered a ribeye medium rare, mushrooms and a loaded baked potato. When I got my food, my potato wasnt loaded, which made me a bit upset since there wasnt even butter in the bag for it, but I figured whatever, I had sour cream at home, the loaded part was on the receipt but it doesnt look like my husband was charged extra for it so it was fine. But then I cut into my steak and it was THIN and was well done for SURE. I was pretty upset by this but I knew Texas Roadhouse is usually busy so I figured it wouldn't be a big deal. I drove up as I was feeling a bit better and explained to the manager what had happened.

Let me start with my experience, this manager was SO kind and also so pretty, I wish so much I had gotten her name because she was so to the point and apologetic, she was ready to make things right.

Maybe 15 minutes of waiting and she had gotten me a brand new steak, a new potato with the loaded toppings on the side, new mushrooms EVERYTHING. THEN she asked if I wanted rolls for free and insisted I get a dozen. When I tell you these had to be FRESH out of the oven rolls, they were STEAMIN hot and delicious!!! I got home and my food was PERFECT. Genuinely think it was the best Texas Roadhouse steak ive ever had.

I wish SOOOOO much i could have gotten the manager's name, she went above and BEYOND to make sure I was happy and was so sweet and apologetic. To the manager if youre reading this, THANK YOU. You did a FANTASTIC job, Ive been to Texas Roadhouse everywhere and my experience with you was the BEST experience I've ever had. Thank you a million times, you truly made a crappy day and turned it so quick!! You should be proud of yourself and I hope so much youre training others to be just like you.

TL;DR- the night manager was genuinely the best of the best, and turned a not great dinner to the best dinner ive EVER had and deserves every...

Being Easter and closing early at 8:00, we arrived at 6:00. May I say we are visiting from Kentucky. When our waitress ( never gave her name, but had very un-natural eyelashes that came to the table be for her) came to get our drink order was upset because we were still waiting on an extra guest. She said," does the front desk know? I know that they didn't put a sign up, but we close early tonight. Our guest, had never been there before. Our waitress, was at our table for his drink order before his butt was all the way on the seat. He ask for coffee. Her response was, I will have to make some, would you like something else? His drink came. She wanted our order. Our guest hadn't even had a chance to look at the menu. Ordered an app to give him time. She came back minutes later took our orders. Our app came. No problem. Another server brought them. We waited forever for our dinners. She asked us to cut into our steak to make sure they were done right, when I told her they were over done, she walked away and disappeared. One of our sides was missing. I had to find a different server to find my server to make it right. The other server came to the table found out what was missing, and that it could be brought in a to-go. Our server brought it to the table with hands full of cleaning supplies. Dropped it on the table. I asked for a box. She asked if we all needed boxes. My husband replied that he wasn't done eating and didn't know. She brought boxes for everyone. She said, " I brought boxes for everyone, a bag to put them in and your bill as she dropped them in front of me. She proceeded to clean, spraying and wiping all the tables right around us, making us more uncomfortable than when we just sat down. The Texas Roadhouse will probably never be visited by our family member ever again anywhere, or by us in Erie. We did still tip her, but she really messed up because we tip well over what is suggested and only tipped a fair...
