I visited this store this morning. Iām sorry to say the Consumer Cellular āTechnical Representativeā, and I use that term loosely, is what is driving this review. This concerns my new IPhone 13 and a faulty SIM card. I spent over 2 hours yesterday with Consumer Cellular trying to activate my phone before we realized the SIM card was defective. The only solution was for me to visit the closest Target store (30 miles from my home) and get a new card. I ordered a new one online for pickup this morning and it was ready as promised in their email notification. The Service Desk personnel were very helpful and offered the suggestion that the Consumer Cellular āTech Repā was there and she could help me if I needed. GREAT! I rushed to the electronics dept, and waited hopefully while she finished up with the elderly couple she was talking too. Opened my mouth to say āAre youā¦. ā, as she rushed past me to talk to another sales associate/friend. Another lady interrupted her and she directed her over to the cash register so I asked my question..āAre you the Consumer Cellular Rep?ā Yep, Iāll be right with you. She then tells me she needs to take care of the other lady first. Okā¦. Now she can help me. I explain my problem and her answerā¦wait for itā¦.We only activate SIM cards by appointment. Even though Iām standing right there in a now empty area of the store, even though as I look around there are no lines of people waiting, so I say; āI was sent here, Iām not a new customer, my SIM CARD WAS BAD, I JUST DROVE 30 MILES. AND SHE SAYS TO ME: WE ONLY DO IT BY APPOINTMENT FROM 11 to 2 DAILY, I CAN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOU TO COME BACK ANOTHER DAY!!!!! Needless to say thatās not happening! Take my word on this, you are better off with a YOuTube video or Googling your question. If you see a girl in Converse sneakers, old wrinkled and dirty looking cargo pants with a flannel shirt that Goodwill wouldnāt accept pretending to work in the Tech Dept at Target RUN as quick as you can for a tablet or a computer. You will get no help or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I decided to go to Erie target because they had some items my store did not have in stock. I brought some items to return per the cat and Jack return policy. Well Jenny waited on me. So I was doing a return at Target Erie utilizing their cat and jack policy. Well As soon as the employee saw my items her demeanor immediately changed. She told me that they only accept defected items. I asked was this a new policy? She said she wasnāt sure about all the details so stepped away to ask another associate. Came back said they had to be nwt , or manufacture defect. Which I explained Iāve returned items in similar condition before (gently used or even nwt). She went on to say this was her stores policy. And if I done it at mentor before I should just go there. I said no Iām here right now why would I do that. She said that they vary per store, I said okay well can I see it (which she laughed and rolled her eyes). Then tells me itās online so I read it verbatim. So then she still argues itās not correct and calls the manager. He tells her as long as itās within a year and I had a receipt I can return it. Okay fine she starts to ring me out. Half way through she asks another employee what time her other break was. So she says 4 she said oh well looks like Iāll still be here. So at this point Iām annoyed so i said can someone else whoās willing to help me help me. I told her itās very upsetting that Iām being treated this way because she doesnāt know the policy. Another girl takes over so the original lady decides to go over to her coworker and talk about me both looking at me so itās obvious. Then she says sheās gonna go talk to another employee about to. Leaves comes back and smirks at me. So at the point Iām very annoyed ask for the manager i told him itās was unacceptable how sheās behaving. He explained that the policy is very vague I said understand that but thatās a company issue not a customer issue. And I told him all the extra in between was very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have had to pick up orders at Walmart, various locations, and it is ALWAYS been a nightmare. Today at Target my experience was the total opposite. Not only did I have a curbside order, that I picked up inside, I also wanted to return two or three of those items, and then needed to check out with things we had picked up in the store as well. With all of that, I expected the worst, but as usual, hope for the best. It was the most non-stressful experience I have had all season. Your cashier was very friendly, effecient, and handled all my issues like they weren't issues at all. I was so impressed, and it takes a lot for me to be impressed. The check out lines moved effeciently, people were friendly, cashiers were friendly. We drive about an hour to visit the Erie, PA store on a regular basis and I will absolutely continue to do so, until we get our Target in Lakewood, NY. Then I can assure you I will be a regular shopper at that location too, unless they do not meet up to my standards like your location and then I will drive to Erie. Your excellent customer service is appreciated more than you know, especially when dealing with stressful and often rude holiday shoppers, working long hours, and missing time to prepare for your holidays. Thank you for all you do and for doing it with a smile on your face and patience for some of us who have lost ours. Please keep up the excellent work. Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanza, and a safe and healthy holiday season to all your employees. ...
