My partner and I stopped by this location on the tail end of a road trip, hoping for a quick meal and a clean restroom. Unfortunately, both aspects of our experience left a lot to be desired.
We stood in line for about 25 minutes, watching as the staff prioritized Uber Eats and DoorDash orders while those of us dining in were left waiting. Given the online claims of gluten-free and clean ingredient options, we were willing to endure the wait. But when it was finally our turn, things quickly went downhill.
I asked the employee behind the counter about the corn tortillas, hoping to avoid wheat due to dietary restrictions. I asked, “Are any of your tortillas just corn?” The employee responded, “They aren’t gluten-free, if that’s what you’re asking.” This answer was both vague and unhelpful, especially since I had read conflicting information online. I asked for further clarification: “Is there anything that’s just corn?” The employee simply pointed at the corn topping and said, “That’s all we have that’s just corn.”
At this point, feeling frustrated and unsure about the safety of my order, I moved to the cash register to pay for my partner’s meal while I figured out an alternative. But as I was at the register, two other employees overheard the conversation. One of them approached me with the allergy sheet and clarified that there were in fact hard shell corn tortillas (wheat-free) and proceeded to assist me in ensuring my meal would be safely prepared.
I was grateful for their attention to detail, but I couldn’t help but feel upset by the initial interaction. The first employee’s dismissive attitude and lack of helpfulness were disappointing, and it made me feel like my concerns weren’t taken seriously. To make matters worse, the restroom was not in the cleanest condition, further adding to our negative experience.
Ultimately, while one employee saved the day, the overall lack of customer service and attention to detail made this a visit I won't...
Read moreUpdate: 4 years has changed a lot with this restaurant. I was there at 7 on a Sunday night. It was outrageous. They should have made an announcement that they had no white rice. They were telling each individual person as they came to the front of the line. The line was around the entire indoor of the restaurant. the entire place was a mess. The staff seem to be very young and where was the management? They were walking around aimlessly, almost as if they had nothing but time on their hands, goofing off, making jokes ect. Of course I had an attitude because I ordered online while standing in line. I got my food after the person that was behind me. And because I had an attitude, the workers felt it was okay to have an attitude with me. Of course brown rice was offered, But come on your Chipotle how do you run out of white rice?!? Whos job is this to order that stuff?????They dropped the ball. I waited over a half hour for my food, and the entire time the app kept saying your order is in...
Read moreThis location is just your basic Chipotle. There really isn't anything special about it if you've been to a Chipotle before. On the other hand, if you haven't ever been there the offer a variety of Mexican style dishes ranging from burritos to salads. Everything is built to you taste too so there us no need to worry about getting something yu don't like. In my opinion they have really great food and it is one of the only "fast food" locations that I like to eat at. The only reason I rated this 4 stars is because, in my opinion, it tends to be obnoxiously loud in there a lot of times. The kitchen is open and the sound from that bleeds into the dinning area along with the subwoofer they have pounding music and all of the customers talking. I think this makes it hard to hold a conversation in there a lot of times. Other than that this is one of my favorite restaurant chains and I highly...
