Update #3: My first review was 100% honest and was not removed due to misinformation it was removed as I stated because your employee threatened our ‘working relationship’ while under warranty. Your employee Brandon admitted that his friend left false reviews on our business, which has still not been removed. I did not ask that you come immediately. I contacted over a month ago and was told a few weeks, I followed up a month later to ask the timeline, still never demanding immediate attention just asking estimated time. I even asked for videos or photo instructions on how we could finish the install your company was hired to do. We had several injuries due to the faulty install and I made every attempt to get support from your company to no avail. With over 300 installs the lack of reviews is telling. As I have said, I would never use this company again if your goal is to have a safe playground. They will use any excuse to avoid their commitments. It has been a nightmare the entire journey. We have only been open a few months and the ‘industry leading’ materials are already fading and torn.
UPDATE: After leaving an honest review about our experience with IPI their employee Brandon Heising targeted our small family owned business with fake reviews. He attempted to tarnish our reputation within our community. The same day I left my honest review we received our only one star review on Yelp from a ‘Crislyn N’ we have no records of her visiting her playground and upon further review she is personally affiliated with Brandon. She lives in another state and has never been to our playground. We included screen shots and added the photos. I’m honestly shocked any professional business would stoop so low as to attempt to falsely destroy a small business simply to avoid repairing safety hazards from their install.. At the same time we also received a review on google from a profile that was fake that google immediately removed due to the obviously fake profile with a purple devil bear. It’s a shame a simple resolution couldn’t be reached. I can’t imagine someone wanting to do business with this company after learning their employees with attempt to destroy your business. It’s so frustrating and emotionally draining as a small business owner to attempt to ensure a safe structure and be targeted by the company you paid in full for their service. It leaves you feeling hopeless.
When expressing our disappointment the president Julie said ‘Can’t make everyone happy’. I think it’s simple build a safe playground or don’t be in the business.
Original Review: Unfortunately I don’t even have the energy in me to write out an entire comment on the awful experience this has been but a few quick points. I did previously write a review and was sternly talked to about our working relationship for the duration of our warranty and advised I should remove it by Brandon. As a courtesy and to avoid conflict I did. This was our first playground build and we made the decision to pay more to build with a ‘professional team’ the number of safety issues left behind that we continue to find are alarming. And the expectation is that we should have noticed them on the walk through- however in my opinion attaching nets so kids can’t fall through would be something the professional team would do from the beginning. We have sharp metal sticking out, thousands of zip ties not cut properly, steps not secured, I can go on and on. I understand making mistakes but the lack of urgency or care on fixing anything it’s beyond frustrating. Beware we had a child fall through our climber - we have been open only two months. We are opening a second location and will not use this company. I would be concerned after 200+ installations the low count of reviews is probably people with similar experiences who didn’t have the time or energy to fight with this...
Read morePosted February 2021: Highly would not recommend! IPI has cost our nonprofit thousands of dollars, outside of the cost of the playground. They sent 1 subcontractor to install the playground 9 months after the playground was already supposed to be installed. IPI subcontractors stated that they couldn’t install the playground due to a flooring issue. Our floor was pre-approved in writing by IPI reps and their lead installer before designing, and purchase of the playground. IPI was to send their contractors out 2 other times, and cancelled last minute both times. We had to pay IPI to bring another subcontractor to install the playground. The 2nd subcontractor was able to install the playground on the original floor with no modifications needed, 11 months after this project was supposed to be completed. The playground design was wrong and some of our attractions could not be added due to the framing layout. IPI president, and Luv 2 Play Chief Operating Officer, both refuse to answer questions, return e-mails, or take any responsibility for their mistakes. Updated August 2021: Reply to Owner- We felt a reply was needed as there is misinformation in the owner's response. 1) We would have liked to further communicate to get this taken care of rather than leaving negative reviews and reporting your company, however when we asked questions as to why the 1st crew of installers couldn't install the playground but the 2nd crew of installers, that were sent out by your company, could install the playground on the same floor, we received no answers to our simple questions and were threatened with a cease and desist order by your company! We are still open to communication, but your company is not. 2) COVID was not the major reason for the delay of our playground. The first workers that were sent out to install the playground, which included the Vice President (aka Owner's Husband) were incompetent in doing so, and could not properly read the layout of the playground. 3) Brad Wright is not the owner of Northwood Community Center. Brad, along with several other community members and local businesses did work on the playground, both in design and directly with your installers. They are entitled to their own review. Speaking of reviews, many of the 5 star reviews not only on here, but also on other sites on the web are written by your employees, and/or their...
Read moreDo not use this company for any purchases.
We have been working with Cindy Seide starting around February to purchase an indoor play structure.
We finally landed on a play structure that would work for our business with a purchase price of $60,000.
The initial deposit for this play structure was $10,500 and we were going to finance the rest through a lender THEY recommended.
We sent our initial deposit of $10,500 and paid the lender our fee’s and first month payment around $4600. A couple of days went by without hearing from either of them, so we called to check in. They told us they were finalizing everything and would call us back in a couple of days.. which they did.
Only to tell us that the lender we were going to use can no longer finance us because the product is not on U.S soil. So, instead they insisted that we go with another lender they worked with, but that lender wanted an ADDITIONAL $9,400 as a refundable deposit. We could not send over another $9,400 because we needed this for our business to pay our contractor, flooring, other equipment, etc.
So, they offered us the chance to get a refund which is the option we chose. The initial lender refunded us our $4600 back within 2 days. IT HAS NOW BEEN 3 WEEKS and IPI has not sent our refund of $10,500 from our deposit. They have gave us the run around for the last two weeks and started to ignore calls, and emails.
Do NOT work with this company. Mitchell Gold COO, Cindy Gold Seide Sales Associate, Julie Caricato President of the company. They are thieves. I would not recommend this company if they were the last business on Earth for ANYTHING.
MONTHS LATER AND THIS COMPANY HAS STILL NOT ISSUED OUR PAYMENT BACK TO US.
Please save yourself the headache and do not give them any business. They lie, steal, and then try to blame it on another company for not being able to get you your refund back. They’re unorganized and all connected within family, the whole...
