MY STAY GOT OFF TO A GOOD START WITH THE HELP OF CONNER, THE DESK CLERK, HE PLEASANTLY TOOK MY BAGGAGE UP TO MY HOTEL ROOM, UNLOADED AND PLACED THEM WHERE I ASKED HIM TO, WHICH GOT ME OFF TO A GOOD START. A FTER HE LEFT, I SPOTTED A NOTE BY YULIA THE HOUSEKEEPER WHICH STATED BASICALLY THAT THE ROOM WAS ATTENED TO WITH SPECIAL CARE JUST FOR ME AND INDEED IT HAD. IM PARTICULAR, I IMMEDIATELY TOOK A GLOVE AND A LYSOL WIPE AND WIPED AROUND THE FRONT OF THE TOILET AND IT WAS TOTALLY CLEAN AND UNSTAINED. I TOOK A COUPLE OF TISSUES ANDWIPED THE DRESSER NIGHTSTANDS LAMPS AND TELEVISION AND THEY WERE TOTALLY CLEAN. WELL ALRIGHT THEN COLOR ME HAPPY. THEN I CHECKED OUT MY BED, TURNED IT DOWN 3/4 OF THE WAY PUT A FLASHLIGHT ON IT AND I DIDNNT SEE ANYTHING BUT A CLEAN WHITE SHEET. HOT HOOVER DAMN, I T WAS A LONG DAY AND I WAS MORE THAN READY TO GET A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP AND I DID. || LORALI THE BREAKFAST HOSTESS GREETED ME GOOD MORNING AND SAID HELP MYSELF AND I DID, TWICE THAT IS, FLUFFY EGGS, BACON, BISCUITS, ORANGE JUICE, OH THESE LITTLE CUBED AND BROWN POTATO BITES, MM MM GOOD AND MY CAFE MOCHA. MAN, OH MAN THATS THE WAY TO START A DAY AND WITH LORALI TELLING YOU TO HAVE A GOOD DAY, I COULDN'T HELP BUT HAVE ONE. SHE IS A GREAT HOSTESS, FOOD IS GOOD, SHE HAS GREAT PRESENTATION AND LORALI IS ALWAYS PLEASANT TO EVERYBODY. SHE ALSO BAKES FRESH COOKIE TOO; THEY ARE TO DIE FOR. I GAVE HER A TOKEN OF MY APPRECIATION, WHICH SHE DID'T WANT TOTAKE BUT I INSISTED TWICE THAT SHE DID. YULIA IS AS HONEST AS THE DAY IS LONG AS THEY SAY.| LAST BUT NOT LEAST IS YOUR HOTEL MANGER, CRYSTAL, YOU GOT THE RIGHT LADY TO RUN YOUR HOTE, FOR SURE. SHE IS A PEOPLE PERSON AND YOU CAN TELL SHE HAS EXPERIENCE, BECAUSE IT SHOWS IN HER FACE AND THE WAY SHE INTERACTS WITH YOUR GUESTS AND THE STAFF EMPLOYEES. THERE HAS BEEN A COUPLE OF THINGS I WITNESSED WHILE RELAXING IN THE LOBBY, SOMEONE WAS TRYING TO PULL THE WOOL OVER HER HEAD. SHE LISTENED TO THEM CAREFULLY, PAUSED AND SPOKE ACCORDINGLY AND THAT WAS THAT. SHE CORRECTED ONE OF THE STAFF ONE DAY, SHE EXPLAINED HERSELF CALMLY BUT FIRMLY AND THAT TOOK CARE OF THAT. IM A RETIRED, THANK GOD BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL CARRER WOMEN WHO AMONG OTHER THINGS OWNED MY OWN BUSINESS AND HAVE BEEN A BUSINESS CONSULTANT TO BOOT. Read moreOnce you read, you can judge whether or not this a suitable option for you, your family, and personal items. In early April my wife and I had business appointments in the Surprise area. We choose Comfort Inn and Suites.,13337 W. Grand Ave. Surprise, Az. Our experience is as follows; Our stay was booked for 2 days. We arrived late on the first night, and our meetings on the second day started at 8:30 am. We returned to the hotel at 10:30 p.m. on the second evening as we had dinner after our meetings. On our return we found that we had been locked out of our room due to a booking and credit card error. We were given new keys and entered the room to find out that our personal belongings had been moved. We did not find out until the next morning when we prepared to check out the extent of the violations. We found that not only had items been moved, food had been taken from our frig and placed in a bag with shoes and lotions, our luggage had been searched and my wife’s I-PAD was missing. We reported the problem to front desk and a report was written up. Neither General Manger or owner was available but we were assured that the problem would be investigated, the police would be contacted and we would shortly receive a resolution. Two days went by no call from the owner or GM, so I contacted the hotel and was told, that the GM was not there but would be in the next day, but I would have to contact the police to order a police report as this was considered a third party incident. I called the police and waited for a response. 3 more days went by no response, so I called the hotel again. I was finally able to talk with the GM, who had limited information regarding the incident and told me that until the police report, she could not resolve the incident. It appears that she had not contacted the police to inquire. It is now 17 days later: No call from the owner, GM or anyone related to the facility. We did find out from the police, and the hotel that someone with access to the front desk key entered our room after the maid. I suggest that you decide, if you want to expose your spouse, children and personal belongings to hotel personnel and situations that are unprofessional, impersonal, and inconsiderate. Read moreDangerous place to stay. Would not recommend this place. They tell you one thing and do another. Myself and my husband along with our 3 children the youngest being 5 and our family dog almost die in a fire due to their failed maintenance on the ice machine right next to our two rooms. Not only was everything of ours ruined with water damage, they did not help us find a place to stay so we sat from 230 am till 11am on Superbowl weekend trying to find another room stranded with our little ones at a Denny's. But the refund for our whole stay promised to us by hotel staff was never received. They knew their ice machine was faulty per fire department statement and they could of avoided it all just by unplugging it. My children now sleep fully clothed be cause they are terrified to wake up to a fire alarm and not one hotel staff helping any one out only a guest staying thank God the same night pounding on all our doors to get us out just in time. No one from the hotel ever attempted to call to check on us and the hotel staff left us in the hotel trying to remove what belongings we could find due to them cutting off the electricity while standing in water on the third floor. Now one will return our calls or emails nor refund both rooms for our whole stay per their promise the night of the fire and in the one conversation over the phone saying they would take care of it. I get things happen but not to uphold to your promises while my kids still suffer from the very scary experience of having to run for your life down a long hall way and down three flights of stairs with lungs hurting for days due to smoke inhalation and costing us hours of being stranded in the middle of the night with barley any nothing on as we had not time to dress while running for safety and then finding a hotel 45 mins away that cost 5 times the amount we planned on paying and couldn't afford. Don't risk your lives or your money and on top of it they charged me more money then they should have by double charging a couple of the nights but no one will return calls nor provide our receipts for charges.
