I have eaten here before quite some time ago and everything was fine and Service was actually really great.
This time My guest and I came to your Suprise location on Saturday evening. We arrived approximately around 6 PM We went inside and gave our name and the host told us that it would be approximately a half hour wait so we said that was fine. We were sitting there for One hour and 16 minutes before being seated. Then we found out from other guests that they have been waiting an extreme amount of time they said they were shortstaffed.
Then, once we’re seated, no server came to our table. 10 minutes later I finally asked a young woman who was cleaning the floors if there’s a server for our table so she said nobody’s come here yet? We said no and then she said she’ll take our order. She came back right away and took our order. We ordered an appetizer and an ultimate platter, which is quite expensive. We then also had to ask the server to bring us utensils and napkins as it was none on our table. 20 minutes had passed and no appetizer. Another server passed by and said she would check on our appetizer, five minutes later it came out. We cut into the mushroom and there was a hair that was connected to the mushroom. We called the server back to our table to complain and then she tries to say that looks like it’s part of the mushroom so I told her absolutely not. The mushroom is brown, and this is a black hair or thread or something of that matter. She said she would tell management. Then about a half hour after that, our food finally came out. Later I requested the management come to our table, and I expressed my concern and his comment to us Was the server told him that there was newspaper that we saw on our mushroom. We said what that was absolutely not newspaper, and why would there be newspaper in our food let alone a hair or thread? This was the most unacceptable experience that we incurred Had the host told us there’s going to be an extreme wait that would’ve been different because then we could have opted to eat elsewhere. Being lied to right from the beginning was wrong. Then having to call somebody to our table to even take our order having to wait 25 minutes for an appetizer and then an additional half hour for our food and then having a problem with the food on top of all that it’s just unacceptable.
I tried calling corporate office, but it said in the recording that you were closed that you had East Coast hours. Then I called during those hours and it said nobody’s there to answer the call that you’re all in a meeting.

Read moreThis place has gone downhill and very quickly. If you want to go out to eat on a Friday night with NO wait time this is your place! I get that their main demographic isn't here yet, (the older population i.e the Snow Birds) but, this place was dead! There were maybe 3 other tables in use (including the bar), Sheff we got there around 7 pm. My family and I really wanted fish and chips that back in the day this was a great place to go to get it. I will preface this next part with the fact that I am originally from Michigan and I am aware that not all restaurants with the same name are equally. Back in the day they had an all you can eat fish fry on Friday's. This is huge in the midwest. Granted, this was a long time ago as well. When we were sat down the 4 of us knew this is what we were going to get. We placed our orders and I asked if it was still all you can eat. The waitress was not really rude but condescending when she said (word for word), "We've never offered that". That's quite a bold statement for someone so young (I would guess very early 20's) and clearly so knowledgeable. I understand in her maybe 6 months of working there (because staff at places like this don't last very long), this was never done and perhaps not done at this location ever but I'm not sure that her tone and answer were appropriate. A very simple, "No, I'm sorry it's not". Would suffice. That being said we haven't even started with the food yet. We got the biscuits. How sad are these? They used to be full size now they are quit literally bite size! Talk about shrinkflation! I'm taking MAYBE 2 inches in diameter MAYBE! You get about 4 of those in the basket. They were dry and flavorless as well. The food came and how sad was this? We got fish that was more batter than fish. It was dry and hard as a rock in some spots. And the 10 fries that accompanied the fish were over seasoned and clearly not fresh. I'm not sure why none of the food wasn't fresh, all should have been cooked to order with such a small amount of people there. The slaw was mid at best. Over all it was a disappointing experience that started off rude and just didn't get better. Our server was never around (nor sure where she was was there was no one at the restaurant). There is a reason this chain is going out of business. The food is below subpar and the atmosphere is dreadful. Do yourself a favor if you're going to drop over $100 for dinner for one small piece of fish and 10 fries go somewhere else and at let get all you can eat. I found several places in town that...
Read moreMy fiancé and I just had the worst experience we’ve ever had in a restaurant, hands down! To start, when we were seated, the hostess told us how horrible of a shift she was having and that she picked the shift up and shouldn’t have because customers have been rude. Then, our server walked by and she said “that will be your server! He’s mad at me right now because I sat you guys” so the tone was set there that our server didn’t want us there. Then, when he greeted us, he never said hello, just immediately “what do you want to drink?” By the time he had gotten to us then, we had already had enough time to peruse the menu and had decided what we wanted to order so we gave him our whole order then. I ordered the four course feast and my fiancé ordered from the unlimited shrimp menu. When he brought our drinks, the drinks were put down without a word and he walked away immediately. When our salads were brought out, mine had tomatoes on it when I asked for no tomatoes. I cannot have tomatoes due to an allergy. Our food came later and when the food was brought out, we asked for more biscuits and refills on our drinks. The biscuits never came. Meanwhile, we could see and hear our server goofing off with another male server in the drink station. Our drinks only came after a female server walked by (after 3 times of her walking by and looking at our table)and asked if we were waiting on refills. Only then when our server heard her ask did he bring the drinks. We finished our meal and waited about 10 mins and still our sever hasn’t come back. I began to check the automated check out kiosk on the table to see if there was a call button as some other establishments have and when he saw from the drink station(where he was still horsing around with his coworker), he approached and asked if we were all finished. My fiancé informed him that he wanted another order of shrimp and we were waiting on my dessert. I also informed him that my soup never came. He offered to send it with me to go but I declined. I told him it was just upsetting. He kept telling me “you can tell me you’re upset. Just tell me. Just tell me.” Very aggressively and overly confrontational. I told him no and he finally left. He never came back. We waited 10 more minutes and when we didn’t see him again, we paid on the kiosk and left.
