Kirkland's Home — Local services in Sylvania

I love Kirklands! It's a wonderful store that beautifully appeals to all senses as you enter. We are on a budget so I hadn't been in in a while. (It's hard to resist. ) I went in yesterday with my cousin from Atlanta and my aunt. We saw several beautiful and great priced items we wanted to buy, but put back because neither of the two women in the store (Toledo) ever spoke to us. At one point, one was standing not 5-6 feet away. She came off the ladder looked right at us turned her head and walked away. The store isn't that big. We were in there about 12-15 minutes and neither ever acknowledged we were there even after we commented, or as they looked at us when we walked right by them at the desk still shopping. I DO NOT spend my money in a store that doesn't value my presence as a customer, let alone common courtesy. It's a shame in this economy to let good money walk...

Absolutely love Kirklands, my sister and I were very excited to go into the Monroe Street store today to make a large purchase on a complete leather living room set. When we started to ask questions and were given dismissive and very short one word answers from the employee, we asked if we could please get help, she screamed at us that she was busy with another customer. We immediately left and she continued to yell at us as we walked out. We went to the Perrysburg store toake our purchase. In reading other reviews, it sounds like this is common practice at this store. She does need to find another line of work, customer service is...

This is one of my favorite stores. I could not tell you the endless products I have purchased there. They are always of high quality. BUT....UNFORTUNATELY i have decided after my last two visits...one being in Perrysburg and one in toledo I am going to keep shopping online! The women who work are always very rude.
