I wouldn’t give this store no stars if I could. My husband and I visited this store last Monday 1/16/23 to buy him a new suit and have another suit (which we bought at Men’s Warehouse) altered, as he had lost a lot of weight. I would like to start by telling you that your employees were dressed so casually it was hard to figure out who worked there. They were in worn out dirty jeans, tee shirts, one employee walked in wearing his bathrobe. They are shoddy at best. The second time we were there one was on a personal call and could barely answer our questions. Their attitude was curt, hurried, impatient, and very patronizing. We appreciate having time to decide what we liked, look at the options, and take our time with making our decisions, but here we felt that we were a bother and the employees resented taking care of us. My husband is hard of hearing and I could tell that they were frustrated when he didn’t hear them. We finally decided on a suit, and told them we needed it altered by 1/19/23 because we were traveling on 1/20 and had to take it with us. All it needed was hemming the pants and the jacket cuffs. They finally agreed they could do this and told us we could pick it up at 7pm on 1/19. When we got there they looked for the suit and said they couldn’t find it. After about 15 minutes, and several employees searching, they came out and told us the suit wasn’t ready because the clerk, while putting the pickup date on our copy, didn’t put it on the store copy of the pickup receipt. This was a lie because I saw her write it in a black marker. One employee kept brushing off my husband as he tried to talk to him. My husband had called the store earlier to ask if the suit was ready, and they left him on hold for at least ten minutes. He called back and the clerk dismissed him, saying “Everything the seamstress had to do for today is ready.” He thought that meant that his suit was ready. I told him that meant they blew him off. They did not try to help us, just shrugged and basically said “Oh well, too bad.” We planned to fly out with the suit today 1/20, along with my gown, so we could have our clothing pressed and ready when we flew back on 2/3 for a formal dinner dance. Now we have no suit, and IF they get the alterations done we will have to overnight the suit to be ready for our affair. The entire experience in your Tallahassee store was painful and embarrassing. I would NEVER recommend your store to anyone in my area. The service is horrid, the clerks are rude and condescending, and after spending almost seven hundred and fifty dollars in the store, I expected much more. I will not patronize your store in the future and I suggest you look at this store with an objective eye. If you are striving to be a high class establishment, this store falls far...
Read moreI must start this review saying I would give the manager 5 stars. He really tried very hard to correct all the errors made on our order. We went into the Tallahassee location 5 months prior to the wedding to pick out the tuxedos. The salesman that was helping us was very nice, but seemed overwhelmed and not very knowledgeable. I guess we should have asked for someone else! Almost every question we had, he would leave and then come back with a answer. Anyway.... We spent 2 and 1/2 hours in the store making the order and having 2 of the groomsmen and the groom sized. Several days before the tuxedos were to be picked up, we received a call that they were in and the guys could come in to make sure they fit. This is where the problems began. The tuxedos we ordered were gray, white shirts and blush vest and white shoes. The tuxedos that were sent were black with blue shirts. They were able to get the right ones in on time except we did not get the correct vest. We were given plain vest and the ones we had picked out had a pattern on them. We were told that the salesman that helped us, no longer worked there and he had made the mistake placing our order and that the vest we wanted were not even available in the color we needed, even though I have a picture of it on my phone in the correct pattern and color. Everything was placed as being the fault of the salesman and maybe it was, but if he wasn't ready to be on the floor helping customers alone, then he shouldn't have been, especially something as important as a wedding party. The groom wanted each groomsman to have a different pair of wild socks and they came in all the same (blue stripes) not the crazy colors and patterns he picked out. The manager did step in and give the groom 6 pairs of replacement socks at no charge to correct this problem as they had them in the store, which I thought was very kind of him. 3 other tuxedos were ordered at 2 different locations, so we had a total of 6 tuxedos at close to $200 for each rental. It was not a cheap sale and I feel very let down by the experience. I believe more care and concern should be taken for such special occasions. The final disappointment was during the service when one of the groomsmen's shoes began to come apart. The soles of the shoes were literally flapping as he walked because the soles on the heels had come loose from the shoes. Just a lot of...
Read moreHorrible experience. The backs of the vests for a wedding did not match (see pic below). This is for a beach wedding so they are only wearing shirts and vests and not jackets so the backs matter. After the runaround they agreed to order more so that they matched but could not guarantee that they would match. The new ones they ordered matched. Thank God. We went and pick up the new ones and they had ordered an XXL instead of a 2X which is the size that they were supposed to be. We had already been over there five times and live an hour and a half away. The new vest did not fit and the only option was for me to send it back, wait for it to come back to the store and then they would resend the other one. I specifically sent a message to the manager telling her the correct size (2X) because she said I would have to tell her what size we need even though she had the size in her system. She ordered an XXL. So when I asked her what the difference between a 2X and an XXL, she told me the 2X was bigger. I asked her why she didn’t order the 2X like I asked her to (and the size he previously had) and she said that wasn’t the size they had in their system. She previously told me she didn’t know which size belonged to which person and that’s why she needed the size. She was ordering two vest so how did she know which size was the one that she needed to order the correct back on? Due to this being the managers fault for ordering the wrong size, they should go ahead and send the vest with a prepaid box for me to send the other one back. The wedding is in “three” weeks. Poor management. Don’t buy from them. Another option provided by corporate was that I can go online and buy another vest. You will end up spending a lot more money if you buy with this company.
The first pic is of the wrong color backs (very tacky). The second pic is the correct size (2X) but wrong color back. The third pic is a picture of the wrong size (XXL) obviously.
EDIT: I finally got corporate involved (after 3 attempts) and I got the replacement...
