Tallahassee Smallcakes is amazing.
Since recently moving, I’ve realized the franchise in Spartanburg, SC doesn’t operate the same as my college town store, this store.
Anyway, the closest other location is in Asheville NC for those curious to try cupcakes like the ones pictured.
The menu rotates through several jumbo sized cupcakes and they never disappoint in delivering a fresh and quality cupcake every time. My favorite is the salted caramel cupcake. The icing is caramel flavored with sea salt sprinkled on top. The cupcake is vanilla with a little bit of a salty taste. My bf’s favorite is the chocolate peanut butter with Reese’s (not pictured).
The blueberry topped cupcake is blueberry pancake flavored cupcake.
The brownie topped cupcake is a mud pie flavored cupcake.
The pecan topped cupcake is red velvet. 10/10. The one is Spartanburg serves it with cake crumbles…at least when I last visited. Not as good.
The cookie dough cupcake would occasionally show up and they also have doggie cupcakes (not pictured)!
For less than $4, you can have a cupcake that will last you either one or two servings. The minis are around $2.50 so it’s worth getting the jumbo.
Bring one to Greenville and revamp the one in Spartanburg,...

Last visit, I ordered a dozen and the associate was very unclear of price $38. I was over charged by $3 because she didn't know how to total buy 5 and get 1 free. I asked her about it and was told she didn't know how to do refunds. She texted the manager to call me. Two days go by, nothing! So I reached out and manger was not professional. Told me to come back by and get my $3. Wow! Guess I'll stick with Publix...
Read moreits a decent bakery. when i went they seemed to only have about 7ish flavors available. i chose birthday cake and strawberry. i was hoping for some amazing cake. when i bit down into birthday cake, i assumed the cake part would have some type of rainbow sprinkles mixture.... instead it was a regular, dry vanilla cake with regular vanilla icing and sprinkles. the strawberry cupcake was a little more moist. aside from that, the presentation is pretty. im not sure if i went on an off day, but i cant see myself paying $7 for 2 normal, dry...
