I was told the buffet was $11.15 for lunch and when I called I donât know if the front desk person didnât hear me or not but I asked if that price included a drink. They told me yes. When I went there and ate and went to pay she told me the price was $14.50 but I only had $12 on me atm and when I asked her about the price she told me it was because I had gotten a drink which I was under the impression it was included as sheâs stated to me before. So I told her I would give her the $12 now and I would be back the next day to give her the remaining balance and she asked me if I was broke and I couldnât afford the $2.50. And I understand I was in the wrong for not having the money but as a place of business, you never ask someone if theyâre broke or if they donât have a job, which she also asked me when I called the next day to speak to a manager about my experience, she asked if she could take a message and I said â is there no one in the building that I can talk to right nowâ. She kept insisting to take a message, but wouldnât answer my question. She then eventually hung up on me.    Read moreI go there on a regular basis for their egg drop soup. Today, I went in and ordered 3 large egg drop soups for takeout. The gentleman at the front was busy on the phone but he still took my order at the same time. When I got home, I realized that 2 of the soups had spilled all over due to warped lids. Since it was in a plastic bag with lots of napkins, I didn't notice. Also, they were WON TON and NOT egg drop soups. I am gluten intolerant, which means I'm allergic to the won ton. I called and told them what happened. The man insisted that I ordered the won ton and pretty much ignored the other details. He was busy on the phone when he took my order so I am sure the mistake must have been at his end. He wanted all 3 complete soups back or else no refund. At the end, I went ahead and ordered 3 replacement egg drop soups with a $3 discount. Ugh. (My options for fast gluten free soups are not very big)
So yes, the soups are great. The food looks real good and the place looks nice and clean. I just really wasn't happy with the outcome of this. For now I guess I will look for a new source of gluten free soup for next time I...
   Read moreWe love Chinese buffets and have been going to this one for years and it usually was very good. Unfortunately, the quality has come down significantly recently. On Saturday night at 7pm, there were very few people there and the food looked like it had been sitting out without any refilling or replacement for hours. One buffet line was completely empty and closed, and anything that was empty or mostly empty stayed that way the entire time we were there. The soup was crusty on top from sitting there. The only thing I saw them refill was rice. Also, the sushi, which used to be pretty good, was nothing but Krab sometimes with cucumber or cream cheese. No real sushi or even avocado on it. They don't appear to have kids rates anymore. My daughter and I were almost $30 for very mediocre food. Not sure what has happened, but it isn't the same quality...
