Walked inā¦no greeting. Stood at counter several minutes while 4 employees chatted it up and horseplayed. I was still never greeted by the person at the register. She just looked down at it while snickering. They must have been high because āon white breadā made them all laugh really hard. Racism. I was worried about my food getting spit in. I wonāt be back. Obviously others have made that same choice as what used to be a busy location at lunch time was empty. The sandwich was small and of poor qualityā¦and no āthanks, come again.ā There are other places in town that show decency and decorum - like Publix Deli next door. Many business owners will shrug that off but if you donāt get a handle on this rudeness and other negative qualities youāll lose customers and not make payroll/rentā¦appears to be occurring. When someone is willing to spend $15 for something that costs maybe $3ā¦you should show them a tad bit of appreciation. I was treated like an inconvenience and ignored. Maybe the employees need refresher training. People vote with their dollars, especially...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Firehouse Subs had some major problems today. I noticed there were only 2 people working, several people waiting for their food, 2 large empty tea containers, and a dirty restaurant in general. After 5 minutes at the register someone took my order with gloves on. She proceeded to check her phone and text then go back to making food ( same gloves). They were draining extra liquid from the sandwich meat into the trash. Iām not sure what their training involves, but this was not appealing. There was no sense of urgency at all. It seemed like everyone was new there and did not care about the process. Right around 25 -30 minutes I was ready to ask for a refund. We waited and got our food only because the young man made it with, from what I could tell, proper glove use. A third person showed up toward the end and seemed to need instruction for each and every action. I hope they can get this place back in shape. It was hard...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I walked in the door there was no greeting or acknowledgement that me and my mother had entered. There was only a couple seated, two workers and the two of us in the room. We walked to the counter to order and waited patiently for someone to acknowledge us, after a few minutes of us discussing and deciding to go somewhere else the employee behind the counter states āthere will be a 45 minute wait, I have eight other online orders to fulfill,ā my mother then replies āwouldnāt we take priority since we are standing in front of you?ā And she blatantly ignored us and continued to make other orders as we walked out. I completely understand the situation but it shouldāve been handled better, she couldāve greeted us to begin with and told us there would be a few minutes wait while she made a few of the orders but she acted as if we were invisible and then...
