I was at this location and when I got home my order was incorrect. I called and talked to a manager, Michell, who was very nice and she advised me to write her name on my ticket and they would replace it next time I was there. When I returned to have it replaced I was just n the drive through. I was told by the manager LaTonya McCall that I would have to come inside. I said to her that the customer should not be inconvenienced when it was Popeyes employees that did not get it correct. She then told me if I did not leave the window she was calling the police, I told her to call them. They closed the window and I sat there a few more minutes. I then pulled forward to a parking space and called there corporate number. While I was on the phone filing my complaint she walked out to my car with the food, the only way she knew what it was is because she looked in the book from where I called the day before. She tried to say that she asked me to pull forward and she would bring it out but she never did because I would have said okay and thank you. After filing my complaint with corporate I received a call from the General Manager Mike. He was yelling and screaming at me never gave me a chance to say anything. He was saying that they gave me instructions and I did not follow them, they never gave instructions by the way. He then went on to say that I filled a complaint and his boss had called him. After that he went on to say that “ you people think just because we are black that we are stupid and don’t know what we are doing”. He also said “ that you people think we are supposed to just take it and not say anything”. So basically he was calling me racist and he was showing discrimination against me. I have put a few more calls into their corporate for his boss to call me but nothing yet. This company does not care about their customers. Very poor customer service. I would not waste my time going to this location. If I could give them 0...
Read moreFor the quality of service I received and the treatment I was subjected to, $26 was essentially flushed down the drain tonight. The drive thru box is way too far from the drive thru lane, so the employees can't hear the customers. I know this because I was asked to repeat myself 3 times, and the employee ended up getting frustrated and telling me to move forward. No confirmation of order, no total, just a "Pull up to the window." I mistakenly didn't ask for the order to be repeated at the window, but I did see the employee interacting with customers get mad and snap at the customer behind me. We received the food and pulled forward to check out of habit. The 6 piece biscuit we asked for isn't here! Check the receipt, did we get charged for it? We didn't get a receipt? I go in to see what happened and get ignored in the lobby until the manager walks out of the back and asks how she could help. I explain I didn't get a receipt in drive thru and didn't get what I asked for. She checks the recent orders and handed me a copy of the receipt explaining I didn't get charged for it. The whole time the employee taking the orders is giving me the evil eye while she rudely interacts with other customers. When the manager tells me I didn't get charged she shook her head and turned away shaking her head. I said I would go get my my card but immediately changed my mind because I started to get angry and just left. I run a local business which focuses on great customer service in our communications with customers, and if I were managing that store I'd be embarrassed. And the employee who is interacting with customers would've been long gone. It's just a bunch of people going through the motions day in and day out, the store has no personality other...
Read moreOrdered 12 piece - 6 wings spicy - the othe pieces mild. With sides and biscuits.
A little into the order with Traevon - he walks toward the chicken - facing away from my wife and I. (At the same time a drive thru customer was inside trying to get their order taken care of).
I state- not done with my order - Traevon points to his ear. This is the first communication from him at all. My wife and I look at each other and I ask him what that means. He says "listening".
I go on to order a twelve piece meal - 6 spicy wings and the rest mild, tell him the 2 sides etc.
After some time (still) only one word spoken by Traevon, he disappears. (Drive through customer still there and almost in tears.
He finally returns with biscuits. Fixes our order and hands it to us. $30.
WE MADE A CRUCIAL MISTAKE. Did not check the order. (Drive through customer is still there 15 minutes later).
Got home- my son asks what is that pointing to a leg.....
I call and ask for a manager. She immediately starts to argue about wording substitute this for that or that for this. She is yelling over me. Finally I ask her if she will listen. I explained the entire thing then ask what touching the ear meant. Silence. I asked if she, as his manager, taught him that. No.
I asked if she could explain it. No. I Asked for her name. Silence. After repeated attempts - more silence.
I called 911 to report a dead person (hold tight just kidding on that part).
By the way -- food (except biscuits) was awful.
Just go somewhere else. The Tennessee street store is great.
Funny - they had posters all over the store to rate them a 5 and get...
